This is a cool take on the summer slasher. Mixes modern and 80s style and is all about the tropes. I enjoyed the cast and how much the killer was just Jason. Adam Devine was an odd, but ultimately enjoyable, choice.
Really tense but someone needs to punch these kids This was on a summer slasher list, but I definitely say it’s firmly a survival film? Performances solid overall. Fassbender does a great injured/in shock act. Jack O’Connell is a little bastard. Reilly is a solid survivor
