Re-tooling is taking a bottom feeder team and bare minimum getting them to make a playoff push by end of the next season. Re-building would be trading away 1,73,88 and acquiring draft picks and hoping to make playoffs within 10 years

@CJHogan91 @KevinChase18 @shawnferris98 But its not ahead of schedule, they cut their retool short by trading for guys like Arvidsson and not selling more in the offseason. Unless you are a young team or were injured in the regular season, the wildcard is the worst place to be.

The Bruins should absolutely blow it up. In fact, they should've done that last summer. Not having two, top-10 picks this year was a complete organizational failure.

@KevinChase18 @shawnferris98 Once again, never said they were cup contenders.. Since you obviously never read the original tweet from Shawn, he said not drafting in the top-10 is an organizational failure. Organizational failure would be ending in 30th place and not having a first round pick.

@KevinChase18 @shawnferris98 Never said they were cup competitive. At the beginning of the season everyone picked Boston to be a lottery team due to re-tool and they still made the playoffs over 8 other teams in the east. I’d call it ahead of schedule, not organizational failure

@TheMaster_Plan_ Since 2008, this team has made the playoffs 16 times out of 19 seasons. 3 cup finals and 1 cup win. In that same exact time frame Buffalo has only made it to the playoffs 3 times. Its crazy how ungrateful and unknowledgeable of the game these people are

I will never understand blaming Don Sweeney for the Bruins not winning the Stanley Cup in 2019 or the failure of the 2022-23 historic team failing to get out of the first round.
