I have a horrible feeling that this "withdrawal of care" starts when the elderly become frail. It creeps in insidiously long before end of life. Let's change that.

There are lots of ethical traps in looking after people with frailty. We worry too much about what could go wrong. “Frailism.” Using words like “very frail” can subconsciously make us assume greater vulnerability or an inability to make capacitious decisions.
