@ArnoldMoger Who would be if it isn’t them? also, BGS is actually really solid in consistency outside of how often they deem sports altered.

if you think its B i have ocean front property in iowa to sell you. while I am sure they update their processes. their camera technology ALONE isnt enough to catch all issues. they are years away at minimum from grading consistently as PSA or CGC or BGS
Arnold von Moger@ArnoldMoger

We all know PSA is wildly inconsistent, but is TAG any more consistent? YouTuber @javaakumayt made a video putting TAG regrading to the test. The results were shocking!! Almost every card came back with different grades, some higher and some lower. This means one of two things must be true. 1. TAG's AI grading equipment is inherently flawed for repeatable results. OR 2. TAG silently pushes updates to either the hardware or software components to make its "algorithm" better. I personally believe number 2 is more likely, which means if TAG grading is all about transparency as they claim, then the their algorithm version should be published with every single graded card on their registry. This would likely cause cards graded on the older TAG algorithm to be valued inferiorly, but we already have to deal with this for PSA grading. So many old cert PSA slabs would not get 10s if cracked and regraded today. If TAG is not going to offer this additional transparency for its algorithm versions, then it means their DIG reports are not reliable or trustworthy. This all begs the question, why use @TAGgrading if you can't trust the data they provide? Sounds no different than PSA to me.

@ArnoldMoger I never said they are consistent. I said on camera technology alone TAG is nowhere close to the big 3 in consistency

@CLE_KingOfGames TAG could be years out from maturing but don't pretend that PSA, CGC, or BGS are consistent. 🤣

You have $10,000. You must put it ALL into one player today, and hold for at least 5 years. Any sport. Whose cards are you buying?

@BigBobsCards @BookitWithTrent What are you realistically doing after one rep and Garrett has introduced a new level of pain to you. praying you can stick the bat out and it rolls fair is way more likely imo

Would you say the average person has a better chance of attempting to block Myles Garrett given 20 attempts or making fair contact off Paul Skenes on 20 pitches?

Good enough sample size with this now so time to update with results! I have graded 18 cards purchased on eBay using the PSA direct grading program. Gem Rate: 13/18 (72.22%) Market Value: $45,329.64 I would expect some reversion to the mean with this type of start. However, the results speak for themselves. I will definitely continue to use this service where it makes sense.

@iam_mkkxri @CFBKings California has the best high school football in the nation. More nba players than any other state. The only issue is our talent leaving for college.

Oregon and Gonzaga are very similar programs in the respective worlds of College Football and College Basketball. Both programs have been relevant on the national stage for a significant period of time, but neither has won a national title and they always come up short of the big goal. Gonzaga lost in the NCAA tournament last night, suffering their second consecutive exit in the Round of 32. Oregon got annihilated by Indiana in the College Football Playoff semifinals last season, and in 2024 they were a one-and-done with a blowout loss to Ohio State. Will either program get over the hump and win their sport’s national title in the near future?

Yes, I agree there are two sides to the coin. On one side you do have students who try to have AI substitute for doing their own substantive work. And professors/teachers should penalize this. On the other side you can’t have students actually do the work and then get flagged by a faulty AI app. In that case the professor/teacher using a bogus app should be penalized.
jay@marklarforever

@RonDeSantis Yea but Ron we have college professors and high school teachers using these ai slop generators and kids that are actually writing without ai are being told sometimes that what they did was made with ai... its a huge mess right now in educational system.
