We don't need to debate whether it's better to be a generalist or a specialist. The world needs both. Specialists excel at zooming in. They see the details to deepen our knowledge. Generalists excel at zooming out. They see around corners to broaden our view.

@HelenRSalisbury The headline is misleading though Helen. The harms are relatively small and can be reduced further by looking at the suggestions in the original research. Remote consultations were a life saver during the pandemic. Demand too much for all FtF

@HelenRSalisbury I'm really annoyed by the lack of context in the article - this was government driven and really pushed hard (& made things worse for many practices as far as I'm aware). Don't blame the GPs!

@MoneySavingExp Interested to know if anyone else has experienced this? Opened @PostOffice Savings account online. Can't login - apparently because "sometimes" you can't log in on Apple products. They insist that's ok because if I keep trying I might be able to log in.

I (@CraigNikolic) often post about the NHS's "Same day" plans for in-hours general practice hubs being dangerous, and why ICBs are misusing them to fill an unfunded gap, I rarely take time to explain WHY. So, here we go They forgot to ask what patients really need. 1/28
