What happened early this morning confirmed America been gimped by fucking DC and Congress for almost 80 years. We could have stopped the Cold War with Operation Unthinkable, Korea and Vietnam were winnable and the post CW through GWOT era should have never happened but a return to Teddie big Stick Diplomacy not Democracy building. Once, not if, once US starts building a Space Force Fleet with SpaceX and Lockheed Martin contractors it’s going to be pretty clear what US should have been doing instead of rules based bullshit/UN policeman. We are supposed to drag humanity into the Stars Hell or High water.

Stay humble when people get critical but not since planet side 2, insurgency and squad have I seen a all out warfare game get this much hype because it’s doing things people never knew they wanted but now know they want. That middle ground between mil sim and COD modern BF needs to be filled.

Games where the enemy can survive a grenade and a full magazine dump suck. That’s terrible design. When a tank can survive four to five rockets to its alleged weak points that’s a design issue. I don’t really know why devs continue to not give a shit about their games being fun.

The Backrooms in general is the extended mythology of a rotted stagnate world. The Backrooms is everything about the later 90s preserved but extended into a twisted bewildering place that is wrong but familiar. All the levels represent some sort of exaggerating disconcerting piece of modernity, an office with no purpose that goes on forever, its stagnate air, humming lights make one uncomfortable but its the place of familiarity. Most of the Backrooms levels are that, places that either aught to be reassuring, and familiar but are twisted and have expanded into an inescapable prison. You can never leave the Backrooms, the Poolrooms, on and on, are inescapable purgatories for which nothing changes or progresses in a logical manner, as if time and history have collapsed into incoherence. Nothing really makes sense in the Backrooms. Like living in America today, you can't trust your senses, there is no logic or consistency. Your actions truly cannot assure you a good outcome, in fact you are just as likely to die horrifically going down the slide as you are to find the next level, and the next level has new rules that are as arbitrary and unhinged as the last level. And always there are roving monsters whose origins and intentions are completely unknown but whose lethality is ever present. The Backrooms is the End of History, a present that has no future, no progression except through levels of the same realm that has always been and always will be. We are all living in the Backrooms of History.

I feel like this is the biggest complaint with most Looter Shooters/ ARPGs. Lack of endgame. Anthem, Outriders, launch D4, etc. Yet Warframe is now the longest standing game in the genre and it legitimately lacks endgame. What’s their secret?

@CMDRSpiff In my subjective opinion and experience I liked 2042 gameplay more than BF6 and it doesn't mean that it was a good game. While BF6 had a rather smooth launch I can't say that it's gameplay is in any way as engaging as previous titles.

Priority fixes for BF6: -Visibility, -Footsteps audio, -netcode, -Gunplay, These 4 combined make this game feel so bad compared to previous titles. Even 2042 had better visibility and audio lmao.

When I visited Japan, I learned that it's common for people to just conspicuously place lost items exactly where they found them, assuming that the owner will come back for it. Specific parts of the US still do this, but the rest of the country is under foreign occupation.

a lot of people are pretending not to understand that what americans want is for price levels to go down. they don’t care about real wage increases or inflation rates, they want nominal price levels to decrease. there is nothing you can do about this.
