Respectfully, @GovKathyHochul, CityFHEPs presently houses MORE New Yorkers than shelter, at a fraction of the cost. The path to a balanced NYC budget is moving MORE families into permanent homes—not continuing to warehouse them in shelters that traumatize and destabilize people.

Our proposed updates to the City’s Construction Codes could help unlock up to 35,000 new homes on small lots. We've also created a new Council Advisory Group on Housing Affordability that will help shape long-term solutions.
