@Adam_V3D Made exactly 0 cuts on mine. Had a project planned but had to prep the material on my laser and that wasn’t up to the task, so the project got scrapped. 😅

When I got the Carvera Air I honestly thought I'd be using it all the time, but I've not used it once since I got it. Do you have this machine, or something similar? What do you make?

@TheCraftyMaker @Prusa3D Outside perspective: Meters cost Prusa $0 to issue. If someone games the system racking them up, no real loss. It only matters when points get redeemed for real value. THAT is when human review makes sense. 14 days is just buffer room for backlog, investigation, or other reasons.

Jeeez @Prusa3D, up to 14 days for voucher validation? Are you manually checking every download that resulted into Prusameters? Don't you trust your own system? I find this so weird.

@Naaackers Honestly I don't think any of them have done it right yet. We should absolutely be able to get solid monitoring / control from a tablet or smartphone in 2026, but they are all spotty at best. Or require you connecting to some wifi hotspot that has a weaker signal than an RPi...

@reprinted3D @Elegoo_Official Doesn’t it have built in wifi? If not, I don’t believe the firmware will have any way to setup drivers & use the wifi dongle. There are wifi-enabled USB sticks that allow file transfer over the network. We used to use those in pre-network connected printer days. Still viable.

@Elegoo_Official If I purchase a USB-to-Ethernet adapter and plug it into my Saturn 4 Ultra, will the printer see that and connect to my LAN?

@devmobnow @reprinted3D I find it’s getting better at presenting the wrong answer more effectively. It’s like a calculator, if you don’t have any concept of what the answer should be, you won’t know how to spot when it’s wildly inaccurate. I use it regularly, but I’m constantly slapping it back in line.

I've been working with AI to troubleshoot a mainsail/ Klipper situation on my 3D printer and it's been an experience to say the least. It turns out that it just starts looping, going over the same thing, and I have to stop it. At the end it says, "Would you like to learn the better way?" I'm like, "Of course I would." It just loops again. AI just isn't there yet for 3D printing.

I can’t tell if this is AI generated, Apple’s writing style is just like that. This has been their style forever, models get trained on it. It is VERY specific, once you learn how to read it you can sense it from a mile away This reads like Apple

@MattStultz @mildredslondon @Ubiquiti @mybirdbuddy My DM Pro only has 1Gbe on the RJ45 WAN port, but I got a SFP->Rj45 adapter that is capable of multi gig. I just reconfigured the SFP port to be my WAN port and my 2Gbe Fiber works beautifully now. I still want to upgrade DMs but I don’t HAVE to.

@MandicReally @mildredslondon @Ubiquiti I just got a new UI AP to put outside to improve our @mybirdbuddy performance and give us better Internet in the hot tub. I need to get a new Dream Machine too because I got faster fiber but my old DM only supports 1 Gb.
