Holy Moly Colorado! Flu data updated early. The previous record was in 2014, when 582 people were hospitalized in a single week. We just eclipsed that week by a full 34% (and the data for last week remains incomplete)! #flu #viralillness #maskup

@CODaleyNews @MarkianHawryluk We always get the vaccinations knowing there will be a mismatch to one degree or another. This year I’m more concerned about whether or not to attend an early January large gathering/sit down dinner buffet.

Colorado is now in the darkest "very High" category for Flu according to the CDC. This is for the week ending 12/20. We will get new data tomorrow from the state for last week. Denver, Colorado Springs, and Fort Collins are all in the very high category.

@CODaleyNews @oscarcontrarius @MegWingerter Yeah, my eyes bugged out of my head at those numbers. I thought maybe it was a typo, but all the indicators are high. Positivity, ed %, etc. the numbers are bananas for all of them
