Our very own Vice President of Referees, Kari Seitz, will be inducted to the @soccerhof in 2026. Before joining U.S. Soccer, Seitz was a FIFA international referee from 1999 through 2013 which included officiating at four World Cups and four Olympic Games, as well as being an MLS referee and NWSL referee.

It is with immense sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved State Referee Administrator, Jim McVay.

Congratulations to Kari Seitz, this year's recipient of the Eddie Pearson Award. This award is given to referees that have made distinguished contributions to the U.S. Soccer Federation Referee Program and have had involvement with the program for at least 20 years.

At the moment of delivering the ball at a throw-in, a player has one foot outside the field of play and the other foot fully inside the field (not touching the touchline). The Saint Louis Steamers led by Pat McBride were the "Toast of the Town" and regularly sold out the Checkerdome. As reported by Michael Lewis, under Pat's leadership and personality, the team never gave up! RIP Coach McBride!
