Conservatives have introduced an amendment to remove the Liberal expansion of MAID to those with mental illness, so that a proper review can happen – one that should have happened last year. Canadians should know the impacts of expanding MAID even further before it becomes law.

Instead of recklessly expanding MAID to those with mental illness without parliamentary review, the Liberals should focus on providing additional mental health support

The Liberals’ own Justice Department has said that expanding MAID to those where mental illness is the sole underlying condition ‘could be seen as undermining suicide prevention initiatives and normalizing death as a solution to many forms of suffering'.

Minister Sajjan must show Canadians, especially our troops, he acted immediately on sexual misconduct allegations when they were first brought to his attention. His failure to do so calls into question his ability to continue serving as the Minister of National Defence. #cdnpoli

Just now, the House of Commons voted in favour our @CPC_HQ motion calling on the Parliament of Canada to recognize that genocide is currently being carried out by the Communist Party of China against Uyghurs and other Turkic Muslims. #cdnpoli

Around the world, we have solemnly uttered the phrase ‘never again,’ but it falls flat without action. We cannot say never again and turn a blind eye to government coordinated rape, torture, indoctrination, and forced sterilization. Shameful.
