I held a press conference alongside leaders from @CSEA_Now about my plan to close the "Trump Tax Loophole," a billionaire-friendly tax break that lets the wealthiest commercial property owners avoid paying taxes on what their properties are actually worth.
Since just 2012, this loophole has cost Californians an estimated $243 billion. It’s time to get that money back.

I so appreciate the great coalition who helped pass AB 2011 & now support AB 2243: @NorCalCarpU @WSCarpenters @hacdotorg, affordable housing developers, @SEIU @CSEA_Now, Apartment Assoc. & dozens of YIMBY groups. B/C of them, 2243 has passed 3 committees + the Floor unanimously.
