📢 Research-Oriented Induction Training for Students Begins at CSIR-CIMAP Under the Skill Development Program, the "Research Oriented Induction Training for Students" commenced on 16 July 2026and will continue until 31 July 2026. Twenty MSc Students from the Department of Chemistry, Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow, are participating in this training program to gain hands-on exposure to research and scientific practices. The inaugural session was chaired by Dr. Arvind Singh Negi, Head, Phytochemistry Division. Dr. Laiq-Ur Rahman, Coordinator, Skill Development Program, interacted with the participants and highlighted the significance of research and development activities carried out at CSIR-CIMAP. In his message, Dr. Prabodh Kumar Trivedi, Director, CSIR-CIMAP, emphasized that such training programs nurture young scientific minds and provide valuable exposure to the latest scientific advancements, helping students build a strong foundation for future research careers. सीएसआईआर-सीमैप, लखनऊ में औषधीय एवं सगंध पौधों पर चार दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किसानों की आय बढ़ाने और कृषि उद्यमिता को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से सीएसआईआर-सीमैप, लखनऊ में 7–10 जुलाई, 2026 तक "औषधीय एवं सगंध पौधों के उत्पादन, प्राथमिक प्रसंस्करण एवं विपणन" विषय पर चार दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ हुआ। इस प्रशिक्षण में देश के 15 राज्यों से 77 प्रतिभागी, जिनमें 13 महिला किसान, कृषि उद्यमी एवं ग्रामीण युवा शामिल हैं। प्रतिभागियों को मेंथा, खस, तुलसी, लेमनग्रास, एलोवेरा, पामारोजा, जिरेनियम, कैमोमिल, ईसबगोल तथा गुलाब जैसी आर्थिक रूप से महत्वपूर्ण फसलों की वैज्ञानिक खेती, आसवन, प्राथमिक प्रसंस्करण, भंडारण, मूल्य संवर्धन एवं विपणन की आधुनिक तकनीकों का प्रशिक्षण दिया जा रहा है। डॉ. संजय कुमार, मुख्य वैज्ञानिक व समन्वयक, प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम ने प्रतिभागियों का स्वागत किया एवं प्रशिक्षण की रूपरेखा के बारे में बताया और कहा कि चार दिन चलने वाले इस प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम में सीमैप के वैज्ञानिक आर्थिक रूप से महत्वपूर्ण औषधीय एवं सगंध पौधों की खेती पर विस्तार से चर्चा करेंगे तथा साथ ही प्रसंस्करण एवं भंडारण की तकनीकियों पर भी चर्चा करेंगे जिससे किसानों के उत्पादन को राष्ट्रीय तथा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर की गुणवत्ता का बनाया जा सके और उसका अधिक तथा उचित मूल्य किसानों को मिल सकें। संस्थान के निदेशक डॉ. प्रबोध कुमार त्रिवेदी ने अपने संदेश में कहा कि ऐसे प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम किसानों को नई तकनीकों से जोड़कर उनकी आय एवं रोजगार के अवसरों में वृद्धि करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि सीएसआईआर-सीमैप वैज्ञानिक अनुसंधान को किसानों तक पहुँचाने के लिए निरंतर कार्य कर रहा है, ताकि नवीन प्रौद्योगिकियों का लाभ सीधे कृषकों को मिल सके। @PrabodhTrivedi @CSIR_IND @DrNKalaiselvi @DrJitendraSingh #CSIRCIMAP #MedicinalPlantsFarming #aromaticplants #farmertraining #agriculture #DoublingFarmersIncome #lucknow #InnovationInAgriculture

Republic of #Korea Minister of Interior and Safety, Mr Yun Hojung, currently on India visit, called on to discuss possible cooperation between the two nation in the fields of digital governance, E-government, public administration, capacity building, and citizen-centric service delivery. Accompanied by high-level delegations from respective sides, bilateral talks held lasting over an hour. India and Korea are both vibrant democracies with shared values, heritage and commitment to the rule of law.  They are not only two major Asian democracies, but also two major Asian economies that share a Special Strategic Partnership which is both historic and forward-looking Significant to note that an important Joint Strategic Vision Statement was finalised when President Lee Jae Myung of the Republic of Korea visited India in April this year and met PM Sh @narendramodi. Interestingly, both the countries are bound together by the historical ties of the 48 AD marital connection between Princess Suriratna of Ayodhya and King Suro of the then Gaya’s confederacy of Korea. India has, in recent years, made laudable strides in digital governance, public service delivery, and grievance redressal mechanisms. There is much to learn from each other and much to share.
