Unfortunately couldn’t really test out the LM1 today. 25mph winds with gusts up to 40 made it very difficult to gauge the accuracy. Fingers crossed for a calm day soon!

@BowTied_Golfer I thought the same thing until I started being able to play live matches using GSPro. I played a guy from Sweden a few times and we both ended up qualifying the Mid Am in ‘24 and met for the first time in person to play practice rounds together!

Simulator work is great in the winter to work on fundamentals like ball position, grip, posture and tempo, but not much else. Have never understood the people who go and try and shoot a score indoors. Best to work on a few drills, feel the right "feels" and get out of there.

@MidwestGolfJake @MidAmChaser @DevonDembinski I can assure you, no guys care having to play 2 vs 3. It’s actually better off than having to play with someone who’s lost it is being a distraction all day throwing up a 80 something (source: have had to several times play with that guy, not easy)

I think WD'ing due to bad play is weak. Get back out there and gut it out. If you can't go into an event knowing that you might play terrible and commit to playing two rounds, don't play. So many guys would love that spot. Further, it's disrespectful to the event and it's disrespectful to your playing partners, who now have to play a man down on day 2.

So in the Iowa Am a dude WD'd after an 89. Meanwhile my friend stayed there for over 6 hours yesterday in 110 deg heat hoping to get in as an alternate. My buddy is gutted cuz he was next up to get in. He would have loved to play and wouldn't have WD'd due to bad play. If you're gonna play in an event where you have to qualify, you owe it to the guys you beat in the qualifier to play it out. WD'ing for any reason not related to health or family issues is not acceptable.
