@samborghiniz @saspurstalk21 Agreed. Giving the award to a player like Jaquez whose team is not even in the playoffs is mind blowing. I’ve heard several of writers moving the goal post this year. If KJ doesn’t win, throw the award away.

If Keldon doesn’t win 6MOTY, it’ll be another one of those situations where a Spurs player gets snubbed because of the negligence of voters to notice accomplishments of a player on a small market team. Duncan & DPOY, Manu should have many more 6MOTY, DeRozan for All-Star.. Lames

@BrandonSMM2 Everyone has been talking about it for two weeks. I get it, I wanted them to win l for a better path but RD2 don’t matter if the Spurs can’t get out of the first round.
Plus everyone is acting like Minnesota can’t beat Denver. No guarantees either Spurs or Denver make it to RD2.

Everyone is focusing too much on RD2 opponents but the Spurs haven’t been in the playoff since 2019 so the priority should be RD1, Game 1
With that, the Clippers officially got locked in #9 so the Spurs won’t see Kawhi.
It will be either the Suns or Blazers

The Spurs just lost to the Zombie Nuggets as 10.5-point favorites, and will now have to face both Denver and OKC if they were to advance through the West.
The reigning champion Thunder will now only have to defeat 1 of Denver or San Antonio to make the Finals.

So…it’s in San Antonio’s best interest to run Denver out of the gym Sunday, right? If Denver loses and LA wins (will be heavy favorites vs. UTA), the Spurs will have to face only one of DEN/OKC in the playoffs.

The Spurs have had glaring issues against Denver all season and people are telling me I need to calm down.
They have an opportunity to literally AVOID them in the playoffs and there is zero intensity to prove they want it.
