@msfeldstein I agree with the sentiment that sub agents with an @ or / command to trigger them and a document per sub agent would be the best of both worlds

Do people find value from the advanced features in the Project Rules system in cursor (globs, agent fetched, etc) or would drastically simplifying it to nested AGENTS.md files be 95% as good and much easier to grok?

@ghstbabel @unity I haven’t tested Windsurf specifically but Windsurf uses the same json format for connecting to MCP servers as cursor and Claude. That json is in the Union README

@ericzakariasson I appreciate that @cursor_ai is still optimizing the tab completion and the codebase indexing after all the hype around agents.

Very impressed with Grok Imagine UX. This feels like the right UX for image generation when the image gen latency is almost instant. I almost feel guilty scrolling through the images knowing that I’m burning compute with every scroll 😂

as had been true for over a year, if you’re using subagents to play house and anthropomorphize roles, you’re hosed. Claude subagents are context management + prompt shortcuts. That is all. That is all you need. If you wield them right they are incredibly powerful. There are engineers that are 100x more effective than you because they do this well. It’s not hard to learn but you have to tune out most of the hype.

It's honestly impressive how Apple's AI can receive an incoming message and summarize it in a way that's the same length as the original but still removes 100% of the valuable details
