@dave43law Really wish people would go out and vote. Surely this is down to the (and I hate saying this) “less employed” nature of those who actually voted?

Enjoyed a trip to the British museum and natural history museum recently - but it annoys me that they exhibit about 10% of their artifacts (and allow free access) - fantastic if you’re local…but surely the midlands/north could have a few cultural titbits!?

@TomFoins @the_smarkus 1 card has 1 ordering 2 cards, 2 3 card has 6. It’s a factorial series. 13! > 6.2 billion 52! Is more than all the atoms (we think!) on Earth.

@but_cyclists @snevinoj “Motorist spared jail” - just for a change. Pretty sure the van driver got a suspended sentence.

@SkySportsPL Arsenal player sticks his leg across, not his body, to initiate the contact. It only takes 3 seconds to see it’s clearly not a penalty.

"It's a HORRENDOUS decision... they've taken three seconds, it's an absolute DISGRACE!" 🤬 Jamie Redknapp couldn't BELIEVE this wasn't a penalty for Arsenal!

@Lord_MikeS @jonburkeUK His question was answered - what’s the problem Mike? North Sea oil isn’t the answer. Looks like Skinner’s not the safest of drivers either, shocking lack of attention to the road.

I made a mistake yesterday that I think others have fallen for too. The BoE is not replacing Churchill and other historical figures so not to cause offense to certain groups. The notes change every 10 years and those involved in voting chose Wildlife. That's it.

@realcrazyvaclav @WTStead @LoftusSteve <points at queen> I’m joking though - the majority of people in a few surveys have said they wanted wildlife, which is fine, and in 10 years it might be different again.

@ulster2022 @LoftusSteve @PaulEmbery I answered the question - I shan’t be answering any more. You go dance for your supreme leader - he’s probably got a few months before he’s booted out of the White House anyway.

What an insult to our country by this increasingly unhinged narcissist. I suspect most British people - even those who loathe Starmer - will find this statement extremely disrespectful. As I have said previously, the populist Right in Britain is making a big mistake by hitching its wagons to Trump and his unpopular war.

@CTWhite80 @LoftusSteve @PaulEmbery .....machine that has cells all over middle east & Europe. That terrorises it's own people, murdering 10's of thousands of its own people. Allows the rape of woman and children. Is so close to making a nuclear bomb. But sure don't let this get in the way of a good story 😉

@ulster2022 @LoftusSteve @PaulEmbery The difference is that one respects international law and due process, the other doesn’t. Also, one has to be helped daily with wet wipes now he can’t manage on his own…which doesn’t make for a strong leader.

@LoftusSteve @PaulEmbery He may be a moron in your eyes but he's doing everything he promised to do from his election campaign for the people. Now compare that with ANY politician in the UK. See the difference? Trump's a leader, Starmer a wet wipe.

Cyclists should have their cameras fixed to the frame or handle bars. To use them fixed to helmets or just their hands means they are not concentrating on the road. It’s an easy fix. Don’t allow the police to convict if the camera is not attached rigidly to the bike. It is for safeties sake. Otherwise they are distracted.

@MattCJBaker @Lesley_kr @Tesco Might want to check who owns the supermarket fuel stations now - Asda and Morrisons don’t own there’s anymore, so the “loss-leader” thing doesn’t apply there, which removed the competition across most supermarket fuel stations.

It’s reasonably foreseeable that a child might run out, so a carful and competent driver should slow down a touch just in case. This is essentially the reason we need 20mph limits in built up areas though, because folk assume that they’re safe at the speed limit.
Phil Aurelius@let_me_atom

@anon_opin It's not on you, that's not how the law works. If you are driving the speed limit and a child runs out then there's nothing you can do as long as you're otherwise driving sensibly.
