IMHO. I’d like to briefly go over the events of the past few days, including those related to our favorite project, @PortaltoBitcoin The TGE is undoubtedly a very significant milestone for any project - especially when you truly believe in it and see yourself as one of the many gears making this whole mechanism work. I’m not here to spread negativity - you’ll hear enough of that without me. 💀 Instead, I want to highlight some key points that, in my opinion, deserve special attention: 1 Binance Alpha. 🐙 The team listened to us and enabled claiming our drop before Binance Alpha went live - a huge plus. Even after Alpha’s release, the team managed to hold the price. 2 Snapshot.🐙 Another important decision was taking the activity snapshot right before TGE. Compare this with other projects - they often take snapshots 3–4 months earlier and never say a word. You keep grinding, hoping your effort pays off, but in most cases, it doesn’t. PORTAL valued your activity not months ago, not a year ago - but right now. 3 KYC. 🐙 The team canceled KYC requirements for the drop, making things easier for us. Another step towards the community. 4 The Drop. 🐙 I noticed a strange mindset: some people expect the project to solve all their problems - financial, personal, even life-related. As if others are somehow more invested in your well-being than you are yourself. 5 Activity & Contribution. 🐙 This again touches on our infantilism. Many think they deserve more because they’re “better” or “special.” But the project defined clear, objective measures of contribution: the work of Support, Yappers, KOLs, artists, etc. Everyone had the freedom to choose the type of activity they liked, or even introduce new ones to enrich the community’s life. Yet many simply preferred spamming the chat. If you expect something different from everyone else - you need to do something different from everyone else. 6 Team Efforts. 🐙 I don’t know exactly who stood behind the launch - part of the team or the full crew - but credit where it’s due: the launch went well. A long-awaited L2 with limited resources, multiple exchange listings, and solid (not extraordinary, but solid) drops. I personally know people who sold their tokens at $0.06. The opportunity was there. It all comes down to whether you had the will to take it. What I like about the project is that it tried to do things well. It shows. Intentions are always more valuable than promises. @Elektroveniks x @Metamorfozzz_ Special thanks to them they did a lot for us, much of which we can only guess about.
