43 my ASS what people don’t understand is sometimes you have injuries throughout the course of a season at the end of the day. The only thing that matters is winning a state championship.!!!

Pretty epic day down in @PrepBaseballFL: #1️⃣ Venice Vs. #43 Stoneman Douglas State championship. National championship. Both on the line for Venice who will have to go through future 1st rounder LHP Gio Rojas & the ✋-time national champs. Ring season: FULL throttle 👍👍

This one hits home for me. I found @LantzWheeler out of St Catharine College in KY. Coach Bramblett pushed for him for the Pitching Job @BisonBaseball & @WynnFletcher2 hired him on the spot. Lantz took care of me over the years and taught me the art of Pitching. Keep Fighting Bro

The Rangers will wear a patch with the initials "SL" through the end of the 2025 season, honoring Scott Littlefield, the longtime member of the Rangers baseball operations department who passed away on Friday morning.

Super proud of Rose and all the hard work she’s put in the last year! Her throwing is night and day from where she started🤯 One of the big things at first was taking away the arm pain that she was dealing with, with anchored throws and improving the arm action, then we slowly progressed to throwing harder with different athletic throws. Now? No more arm pain, and she’s not only one of the hardest throwers on her team, but for her age group!💪 #The108Way

Measurables don't always predict who the more productive player will be. So much recruiting and scouting is now done with machines, by dudes that have very little feel for truly evaluating. Misses are now more prevalent than ever before. Instead of evaluating and researching the makeup, work ethic, toughness and maturity. A lot of scouts and recruiters are now relying on machines that spit out measurables to do the evaluating. Yes, measurables are important to an extent. But. Nothing replaces the aptitude to actually play the game. Plus tools, with below average makeup, work ethic, toughness and maturity, will not be playable tools. A lot of tooled up dudes in P5 baseball and even the big leagues that don't belong there. They look the part and are great in a showcase setting, but can't play the actual game. It's possible for the dude that throws mid or upper 8's to be better than the dude that throws low to mid 9's. It's possible for the 7.0 runner to be better than the 6.5 runner. It's possible for the dude with a lesser exit velocity to be better than the dude with plus exit velocity but can't do it in the game. Very few can separate usable tools from non-usable tools. You have showcase analytic scouts and recruiters and then you have the real scouts and recruiters.

The summer before a players freshman year of college baseball. Position players should play as many competitive games as possible. Pitchers should throw as many competitive (responsible) innings as possible. Both should be absolutely addicted to the weight room and conditioning. Walking on campus game ready is extraordinarily important. Yes, game ready. Strong, physical, in shape and ready to win playing time. Playing time is the goal. Not the transfer portal.
