This is what real inspiration looks like!! It’s never too late!! 51 years old. 22 years after graduation. A mother 3 children. After 2 failed attempts on Step 1. And she still made it!! Dr. Kary has been one of the most committed and present members of our community, active in Project IMG, a leader in Project IMG Women, attending multiple events in New York and Miami, always showing up with purpose. She dedicated countless hours to her growth, her studies, her rotations. Always the first to arrive and the last to leave. Always pushing forward, even when the path was uncertain. Her journey wasn’t easy. It required resilience, faith, and an incredible level of persistence — balancing her dreams with her responsibilities as a mother and everything life placed in front of her. And today, she matched. This is more than a personal achievement. This is a message to every IMG out there: It is NOT too late. Your time has NOT passed. Your story is STILL being written. Dr. Kary, we wish you a HUGE congratulations!! You truly deserve this. Your journey inspires all of us, and reminds us why this community exists. This is what keeps @ProjectImg going. This is why we never stop. We are so proud of you!!🤍🩵 #Match2026 #projectIMG

@SeeFisch Dr. Fischer, I truly value your transparency and wanted your perspective on something I often wonder about why are applicants beyond the 5year graduation window often overlooked, even if they remain clinically and academically active? Life paths differ, yet dedication is same.

It is very sad to lose the young Gumaye traditional singer/ Tgadelay Wodi Marge/. May his soul rest in peace!💔😢
