I am pleased to share that our study "The Impact of Gender Identity on Access to Healthcare Services for Refugees in Lebanon’s Northern Regions" with @CIRGH_CUNY has won the @BrownCHRHS Research Seed Grant.

Measles outbreaks can be partially attributed to what the @WHO calls the largest sustained decline in childhood vaccinations in 3 decades. A recent study by @CUNYSPH researchers found that 1/3 of U.S. parents reported a child with a missed vaccination due the COVID-19 pandemic.

In an op-ed in @Newsday, @CUNYSPH Professor @reneedgoodwin and @nyupublichealth Assistant Professor @jlpomeranz say state-level regulation and a comprehensive education campaign should come before opening up the cannabis marketplace in NY, not after.
