You paid it Illegally for a year. 💸🤔 Over 330,000 importers paid duties on more than 53 million shipments — totalling roughly $166 billion. And now every cent is going back to the importers. But wait…Here's the part the above “Brain Allen” tweet misses though. ⬇️ Now billions are being refunded mainly to importers and corporations while ordinary consumers still have no guarantee they’ll see any money back. Because here's what nobody is saying loudly enough 👇 Trump immediately imposed NEW tariffs after the ruling and the remaining Section 232 tariffs alone are estimated to cost households an average of $400 more in 2026. So people paid more, companies get refunds, and households could still end up paying higher prices again in 2026. 🙃 The court said stop. He found another door. 🚪 ✅ $166 billion refunded to corporations. ❌ $0 guaranteed to you. And a brand new tariff quietly loading in the background.
