"I sat in the investment bank side and really my job was to cover non-bank originators. Rocket Mortgage, Quicken Loans - we would identify companies like that, give them warehouse lines, they'd originate mortgages, we'd package them up and syndicate globally."
"We wrote a hundred million dollar warehouse line to Figure Technologies. I quit my job the next week. I was like, I've seen enough."
"The reality was we were building technology that settled payments on blockchains. So it was really obvious."
