@therealgregfin Exactly this. He’s decisive, which is something that could hopefully rub off on other players (Theo and Kerr especially).

@CWGSomerville The thing I like most about Aristizabal is how quickly he makes decisions, whether it’s shooting or passing. The last two games he’s snapped off hard shots on target with no hesitation. Only a matter of time before he starts scoring.

Full-time #TFCLive Thoughts: - Laryea was INCREDIBLE. Just an incredibly impressive performance from him. His fitness is unmatched on this team. - Cifuentes and Osorio had really good games. Their double pivot worked really well. Both (especially Cifuentes) have unreal engines…

- Stefanovic didn’t have to do much, but stepping in, in that situation, he looked pretty comfortable. - This was a standout game for TFC. They dealt with a good team with relative ease, and even when they bent they never broke. If this is a sign of things to come, watch out.

- Gavran is an adventure. He can make unreal saves, but his decision making is a little all over the place at times. He’ll make mistakes, but in the long run this is probably a good thing to get him starting minutes. - Hopefully the Zimmerman injury isn’t long-term.

BEAUTIFUL GOAL!!! That’s exactly what they need to do and what makes Salloi so dangerous. Incredible pass from Laryea. An extremely deserved goal for #TFCLive.

Kerr is very dangerous in transition with his pace/physicality. Improve the dribbling a bit and he’ll be better when under pressure. #TFCLive

Zimmerman having a head injury is the last thing you need. Hopefully this is more precautionary than a long term issue. #TFCLive

Very good save from Gavran. That’s what you need to see more of from him. #TFCLive

Derrick Etienne Jr. was not on my shortlist of Edwards replacements… but I guess I can kind of see the vision? Very smart to move Laryea to the left so DEJ doesn’t have to deal with Echenique. #TFCLive

It feels weird to say given where we were after the season opener, but #TFCLive have so many attacking options it makes them difficult to defend. There are 8 players who could run through your backline and be in alone on goal.

@GCM1979 At LWB? I’m not sure. Especially not Malik. Kosi I expect at CB at some point.

@CWGSomerville You'll see Malik before you see Kobe. Kosi before Kobe, as well.

Edwards and Laryea are going to need arctic level ice baths after this game. They’re running an insane amount (there’s no way I see Edwards keeping this up for the full 90, so don’t be surprised if Kobe has to come in at some point). #TFCLive

@CWGSomerville Edwards has been good though, thus far.

- CBs have played some really nice balls. - Huge fan of that first half. They looked like a dangerous team (and with a DP striker will be even more dangerous).

- Edwards had a couple challenging moments with Echenique, but in general he’s done a good job keeping him contained. - Salloi looks really solid. - Emilio should have been starting this whole time. He will score goals once he gets more comfortable with others around him.

Half-time #TFCLive Thoughts: - Are we sure this is the same team as the first half against Vancouver? - Knock on wood, but they’re doing a very good job managing Denkey. - This is obviously a banged up Cincinnati team, but they’re managing them like very impressively.
