Heaviest armor of any small flying ARC and it's chase behaviour is totally different. "Oh, it has fire so it's the same" is bad logic. Comet, sure. It's very similar. Free kits are fine now. 1/2

@ARCRaidersGame This is cool!… but seriously, this matchmaking aggro system is dogwater. Every single lobby in last week is a bloodbath and I’m never an aggressor. If you defend yer self , you get aggression flagged (makes no sense) and clearly hardcore PVPers are in every match now.

A lot of people concerned about the player base dropping. It’s normal. Those that don’t love it or have had their fill have moved on. What’s left is the core base that have the most value. It’ll go up and down in between major updates, but the core will remain, keeping the game, studio, and future very much alive.

@PrimordialTroll @aimkeyx Wouldn’t even say that, explo compound is still very much harder to find than processors. Especially since everytime you open up a computer area you’ll find 2-3 in a room minimum. The med rooms in dam have like 4-5 you’ll find everytime

all they need to do is nerf trigger nades (again) and barricades in the pvp meta will be peak

@tmc6399 @ARCRaidersGame Seems to me that they're pretty good at returning kits from genuine hackers. I'm not even that great and I've had a number of kits returned to me.

@ARCRaidersGame How about fix the hacking situation lol. I hate being so good at pvp that i have to verse hackers who get by cheating with no bans. Been really enjoying marathon more because this isnt an issue over there. ABMM forces pvp players in hacker lobbies in Arc. Sucks.

@letangcult @TheRooster ...what? 😂 What about this change makes the game harder? 1) fireballs moving while shooting is not a thing. Only Firefly's, which if you can't handle you should just avoid. 2) Toro is absolutely useless vs ARC, it's only a PvP weapon and it was just needed significantly

@TheRooster What’s the logic in making the game even tougher? Now fireballs can spray as they move, they’re nerfing the il toro. I’m not saying the game should be easier, but when do raiders get a break? Fireflies are a nightmare. Venator already got nerfed. Wolfpacks are harder to make.

@TheRustedGear It's the worst augment in the game. I tested it. The defib only works every FOUR MINUTES. Defibs are cheap, dude! Light shield? SIXTEEN SPOTS? The worst passive healing effect in the game? I tried to like it... I brought it to a Harvester. Even using it tons...awful.

Thoughts on this augment?

The player base for Marathon has reached a new low of 25k players. RIP Very few games with this kind of drop recovered to become a commercial success. To do so, they are going to have to pull off a massive miracle like No Man's Sky and other games where they really turned the game around... But I don't think that's going to happen No Man's Sky released with bugs, crashes, broken procedural generation, and missing features... it was essentially unfinished, and they had to pull all the stops to actually finish the game. Marathon is a fully finished, fleshed-out game. But players and reviewers complain that there is too much running around and looting without much action or chaos/fun. Progression and economy are unclear and punishing, a pacing that doesn't click for casuals, and the overall "scifi cyberpunk" that doesn't land. These are core game design problems, and likely will only appeal to a hardcore audience that's too small to sustain the game.

The Bobcat is a fantastic close and mid-range gun; the Toro with a good choke is almost long range. The spread needs to be increased significantly, or remove the option to add a choke. I think that's all it needs.

@MarsResident027 @suxfee @ARCRaidersGame We are far from all guns being equal, toro beats bobcat close range. Two shot kill with enough ammo to kill an entire squad and the range of a sniper. Triggers are also too fucking easy to craft, you can make a 100 in an hour
