Today, we celebrated the opening of the new park at 900 Innes and the completion of the latest phase of India Basin Waterfront Park Project! This park represents a major step toward equitable growth and serves as a cultural anchor for Bayview-Hunters Point and southeast San Francisco. As part of a $200 million public-private partnership, the project is guided by the Equitable Development Plan, focusing on local hiring, workforce training, and support for Black-owned businesses, while promoting Black culture, improving safety, and creating opportunities for youth through internships and tech workshops. More than just a park, this is a model for inclusive development that uplifts the entire community!
