Just in: The Chicago Bulls are hiring Atlanta Hawks senior vice president Bryson Graham as the franchise's new Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations, sources tell ESPN. Graham spent 15 years in New Orleans before joining Atlanta last offseason, rising from an intern to GM, and now becomes the Bulls top executive.

Graham, 39, has been known across the NBA for a tremendous scouting eye and being part of successful finds in the draft and player acquisitions during his tenure with the Pelicans and Hawks. The Bulls conducted in-person interviews with candidates last week and mulled over three finalists — Graham, Detroit Pistons senior vice president Dennis Lindsey and Minnesota Timberwolves general manager Matt Lloyd — over the weekend before deciding on Graham on Monday.

TRENDING: This Chicago #Bears fan has gone viral on social media for showing his 12-hour-old newborn son highlights of Caleb Williams' legendary run this season. This is freaking amazing. @CALEBcsw 🔥🔥🔥

There are some obvious concerns with the NBA's 3-2-1 proposal, but I think it will completely change the way we think about team building strategy for the better Also, I really do not think this helps the Bulls allchgo.com/3-2-1-nba-lott…

@TommyK_NFLDraft @AjFreeman25 @NextGenStats They chose to improve their coverage cause they had guys that were flat footed as hell. I think we were limited on playcalls by personnell in the secondary, mainly our slow ass safeties

In 2025, the #Bears ranked dead last in time to pressure and had the longest average get off time per @NextGenStats. Their response was adding Neville Galimore, Kentavius Street, James Lynch and a 6th round rugby player

@Widdison21 Tbf they drafted Ozzy because they were rebuilding the o line. They haven’t drafted a d lineman at all and the current shape of there d line definitely calls for it

Last year I saw the same fans get upset because we picked Loveland. They were upset when we drafted Burden instead of a RB. They were upset we drafted ozzy trapilo because he wasn’t a popular name. Then got upset because we waited till the 7th to draft a RB. We went on to go 11-6

The #Bears have only drafted three DL in the top-64 in Ryan Poles tenure as GM: Gervon Dexter, Shemar Turner, and Zacch Pickens The issues in the trenches start there. When you don't have a pipeline of talent that your coaching staff can develop, at some point, resorting to free agency is the only option. He hasn't been very good there either, so the ripple effect is finding ways to make it work to justify your bad decisions/lack of commitment to a position. Only way to change it is draft and develop which hasn't been done either.

@CXOseth @SoldierFieldBlg And I dont blame Dalman by any means. Just a really bad spot to be in after losing your LT, with this kind of draft following right after, having very little money, trying to good fits cheaply, and banking on hurt players to bounce back

The Drew Dalman retirement really threw what felt like a promising offseason out the window. Poles has been in recovery ever since. It didn't allow them to be overly aggresive. #Bears

@Balakay @SoldierFieldBlg Totally. Cause dalman retiring cost us a 2nd and 5th essentially. It will always be have to hit on draft. Last year was great, now for that to hopefully continue. Always ways around the cap if owners want & fans better not get attached to players. Cause their will be turnover.

@CXOseth @SoldierFieldBlg TLDR: Theres just a lot ?s & less answers for what this team will need now & later (sooner than you think). And thats assuming Ozzy, Dayo, Shemar, Zah, Jaylon, Kyler, TJ, Sewell are all, truly, healthy at some point this season.

@Balakay @SoldierFieldBlg Probably am that happens a lot on Twitter (in this case accidentally not trying to argue here). Was just encouraging that your fear of team not in great spot and 27/28 FA class doesnt look great. Those classes will change. A lot by then.

@CXOseth @SoldierFieldBlg I’m saying RIGHT NOW Who is a FA in those years as of RIGHT NOW? My point is, a lot of holes exist in 2 year time. A lot more than is usual. They did this with Caleb in mind. But they also have to hit on a lot of draft picks til then. Only so much money to extend. C included

@CXOseth @dabearsblog 3? I see 2, Dexter barely counts…he is average and leaving after this year. Turner is a ??? If you are arguing Sweat is essentially a 2, he’s not when you then have to pay him $25M a year.
