Look at these happy faces! 😊 Our Bulgarian Partner @BSPB_BirdLife hosted the Evidence-based Conservation (EBC) Workshop, funded by the RENATE programme (Recovering Nature in the East). This initiative strengthens BirdLife Partners in Eastern Europe & Central Asia, boosting our collective impact on landscape protection & restoration. Trainees representing @Sabuko_society, @FPWC_news, @DogaNetwork, @PPNEA, @CZIP_CG engaged in sessions on research development, survey planning, data analysis, setting indicator species, integrating finding into conservation policy and much more. A highlight was the launch of the Self-assessment EBC Toolkit, set to be finalized under the RENATE II programme. “The workshop was a space where friendships were formed, and the seeds of future partnerships were sown,” says our Partner BSPB.
