I just don’t understand this thinking at all. The team has gone 10-7 the last 3 years, the coaching & scheme should be getting an upgrade on both sides of the ball, the defense is as talented as it’s been in years & the massive hole at the WR position that held this offense back significantly a season ago has been addressed… We hear this shit every year about the Steelers, and it always ends up being wrong. When are we gonna learn?

Even if Watt isn’t that good anymore, Highsmith and Herbig should still be great + scheme should be more creative so the edge rushers will be a positive. AR just is what he is atp, arm is shot but IQ is elite

Things don't stay the same year to year in the NFL. Just b/c you have the same personnel doesn't mean you'll be as good, especially with older players.

Steelers record for the last three years 2023: 10-7 2024: 10-7 2025: 10-7 Roster got better. 11 wins is perfectly within reason.

@JBaileyNFL It didn't get better at QB or EDGE. Considering time is undefeated, it arguably got worse at the two most important positions on he field.

@PainfulTruth000 @jack_sperry Heyward was the 2nd best IDL in the league last year and JPJ is a shutdown corner. Graham isnt a top DC but hes solid and has much better schematics than Tomlin. Scheme and creativity alone should elevate the unit, plus the depth has gotten a lot better

@jack_sperry The best players on the defense are past their prime. N haven’t been great the last 2 (at least) years and what in gods name makes u think the failed Giants and Raiders DC is an upgrade ? Please don’t say Austin’s name, we all know Tomlin ran that defense. Rodgers isn’t improving
