I asked Claude to optimize my entire Shopify store for SEO and conversions via the new AI toolkit about 8 hours ago I watched it work for 20 minutes before going to bed it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen it rewrote every meta title with perfect keyword intent it restructured every product description with semantic hierarchy it added schema markup to every single page it fixed internal linking across 847 URLs it removed thin content it deemed 'unhelpful to the user' it canonicalized duplicate variants it said were 'diluting authority' it rewrote alt tags across 2,300 product images it added FAQ sections to every category page it compressed everything it was immaculate it was thorough it was confident I woke up 8 hours later and opened Google Search Console my store had disappeared from the internet not tanked disappeared it turns out when you tell an AI to 'remove all unhelpful thin content' and your entire SEO strategy for 4 years was thin content it removes your entire SEO strategy for 4 years the changes were correct the logic was sound the execution was flawless none of my pages ranked for anything anymore i have weeks of work ahead of me to fix this, but boy, for a moment in time, it was beautiful
