🚨 2025 Season Preview 📷 SPC 3A Preseason Ranking: 1. @FWCD_Athletics 2. @oakridgeowls 3. @TVSathletics 4. @Greenhill_FB 5. @hcmustangs_ 6. @sashighlanderfb 7. @CistercianHawk Preseason Superlatives: MVP: @CanaanFactor26 OPOY: @ColeWorth9 DPOY: @ChrisHouston_ Top Newcomer: @KingstonParks13 Top Lineman: @OliverDHill Top 2-way Player: @CalNeubauer11 #RecruitTXPSFB Fort Worth Country Day: The Falcons return after a strong offseason with several key players active in multiple sports. Canaan Factor leads the charge as a legit two-way standout and clear Division 1 prospect. I’m eager to see which school makes the first move. Cal Neubauer committed to Davidson should be a force this year especially on defense where he flies off the edge. The biggest question is whether someone can emerge to anchor the offensive line. Arlington Oakridge: Coach Flowers has retooled the program bringing in a new staff and NFL legends LaDainian Tomlinson and Felix Jones. Transfers Kingston Parks Nolan Wolfe and Hudson Hayes add to an already talented roster led by four-year starter Cole Worthington a do-it-all player. The QB battle between Wolfe and Luke Dearman could shape the season. The key challenge will be getting underclassmen ready to chase a 3A title. Fort Worth Trinity Valley: Replacing Ben Ngishu now at Hillsdale is tough but the Trojans are not short on talent. Veteran QB Caden Tolbert returns with a deep group of pass catchers including Charlie Bulaich Nicolas Watkins Tappan Bailey and Samuel Williams. Georgetown commit Hub Nickels and Brander Killion lead the trenches. Chris Houston brings athleticism and leadership on defense. Their biggest hurdle will be establishing a new offensive identity. Dallas Greenhill: Coach KJ Williams remains one of the most respected coaches in TXPSFB. Last season he pushed an underdog team into contention and hopes to do the same with this year’s squad. Incoming transfers Ashton Gosslin Prince Jones and Knox Smith bring energy and depth. Josiah Christian and Trey Davis return as electric playmakers and Oliver Hill holds things down in the trenches. The early-season test is whether this group can come together quickly. Houston Christian: The Mustangs suffered major losses to graduation and transfers which has many doubting them this year. Still there are bright spots. Track standout Sam Cdebaca returns as a major two-way contributor. Graeme Highberg Sam Nutt and Riley Dolfo bring strength and continuity to the offensive line. Paul Hill and Jackson Barrow lead the defense. Their season likely depends on who steps up as the offensive spark. Austin St. Andrew’s: Last year’s hype didn’t pan out and big losses like Jack Burnham and Trason Armstrong sting. But the Highlanders still return some important pieces. Sophomore QB Charlie Greenberg junior WR Marcos Erlandson and senior lineman Grave Wood will be key. Depth is a major concern and could limit their ability to compete deep into the season. Irving Cistercian: Always a tough read due to limited info but the Hawks never quit. Despite being the smallest school in the league they always compete hard and have pulled off some surprising upsets. Offensively Major Beasley Will McHugh and Trevor Stanley bring promise. Track standout Patrick Sporl could be a breakout player this fall. However depth and size remain big concerns this season.
