@d3alux @WootingKB 1. It looks like a scissor/short travel switch (=faster actuation) 2. It’ll be slower on subsequent presses (which this doesn’t measure) 3. It performs terrible with multiple keys pressed Especially on key release. Which is the key point of Rapid Trigger. Otherwise, not bad.

@IOSamFranco @WootingKB That won't be happening . Wooting is my playground with two great friends and a growing team of people that are equally enjoying it.

1/3 - You know what scares me the most when I see this? The risk of Logitech seeing it and deciding that, instead of beating the competition through innovation, it would be easier to just offer a pile of cash, that @CalderOats and Co. couldn’t refuse, and just buy @WootingKB

@14xfounder @nikitabier This kind of works. But starting 4yo kid needs that stability, predictability, and relations from an increasingly larger environment. You should be integrating with the local community/school not isolate with other nomads/expats that are unlikely to stick around. Imo

Under the App Store's new fee structure for Europe, if you make $10 million in sales, Apple's cut is $6.2 million annually. Assuming you have no operating costs or salaries, your take home amount: $2 million after tax—or 20% of your sales I will never launch an app in Europe.

@sharkosaurfps @aoshijima Exactly, this is not to say that the factory can’t create a solid firmware, but it is to say that there is no inherent knowledge/skill in this department with any of these brands, so you can’t put very low expectations on a new features or improvements added after delivery.

@darealmvp1337 @randomfrankp @OptimumTechYT He tested the mice out of the box. If it comes with high debounce out of the box, why not have it delivered with the low debounce? I can tell you why. Their defect rates would increase significantly due to double clicks, defeating the purpose of having a debounce to start with.

@randomfrankp @OptimumTechYT The shit he got was actually deserved as he tested a lot of the mice on high debounce settings so the results aren’t valid. I also think there was alot of mice missing from that list that definitely should have been there.

The amount of shit @OptimumTechYT is getting over his click latency tests is undeserved. He's providing real in-depth tests other YTers aren't & explains it in his video, but people don't listen. I seem to remember Linus reviewing my X2 mouse & he compared it to my own review of the Glorious O 2, noting how I didn't seem to notice the latency differences. People react and call me "too surface level" of a reviewer...yet OT does the latency tests and people say "nahhh no one notices that stuff" Make up your damn mind people. Can't please anyone anymore 😂

Question of the year. I ran de economics in my head. Either the most stressful business model ever with high sponsor dependency coupled with chicken egg issues. Or So diversified that all the income essentially comes from brand attached to name your product or content deals.

What is the point of being rich if you're going to cook at home, drive a crappy beater car, and live like you're poor? These "live like a broke person" posts are tiresome.

Snelheid is key.

@PeterSweden7 Linear thinking 🤡 you’ll end up stale mating every solution because you can’t predict the future and just multiply existing thoughts and ideas. The world doesn’t work like that.

Has anyone actually done the math on electric vehicles? Theres over 400 million cars in Europe. If all of them were switched to EVs we would need around 40 000gwh of electricity - Every week. We would need to build around 200 000 new wind turbines to get that much power🤡🤡🤡

Hot take. I’m absolutely enjoying the rollercoaster of “things” happening on twitter. It was stale. If Twitter goes down the drain, what is that to us? I’m sure a competitor will pick up the pieces at no loss to us at all.. not to mention nobody earning real $$ on twitter.

A bit shallow to only look at hardware cost. Marketing, (software) development, and after market service should be taken into account before discrediting what’s charged. Then each company you’ll find out where that markup goes (often it’s marketing).
GLORIOUS@Glorious

💡👉Even if you don't get a Glorious mouse, at least don't get ripped off. We know how much mice cost to make (including generally what it costs other companies)...if they're charging $125+ MSRP for a mass-produced mouse, you're getting fleeced on huge markups.
