Just learned that having a 26 inch waist at my age is pretty rare. 📏 Why is it important to measure your waist and what can it tell you? The waist measures visceral fat — fat stored around your organs, not just under the skin. Even someone with a “normal” BMI can have high visceral fat if their waist is large, which raises health risk. Waist circumference is strongly linked to heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic syndrome. For women, a waist under 35 inches is considered lower risk. Weight alone doesn’t distinguish between fat and muscle. • Waist size gives a better sense of fat distribution, which is often a more meaningful health indicator. Measure your waist and act accordingly. Your health and life matter. 🫶🏼

@DanielRaymond1 @BigImpactHumans I didn’t say that but I will give you the benefit of the doubt since English is your second language. Basically you are saying “Adrianna Lima can have lots of boyfriends so this obese poor man can have lots of girlfriends.” Sure he CAN but that statement is so illogical.

A dumb woman in New Jersey calls me a racist, a maggot, and a disgusting Republican just because she saw me get out of a Cybertruck — and then tells me to go back to Texas. You can’t fix stupid, but we can make her famous for it.

@DanielRaymond1 @BigImpactHumans You don’t. That is a false equivalence fallacy though because a male making billions of dollars and solving climate issues has significantly more dating value than an aggressive female yelling slurs towards strangers in the street for their choice of vehicle.

Last thing I’ll add—she did all this in front of my child as he got out of the truck. People like her have no respect for children. Their priorities are backwards, and their heads are so far up their own asses that they don’t know how to treat anyone who they think doesn’t align with them with respect. I felt I had to stand up to her, at least to some degree.

An interesting point of view. I think there are a vast number of things that play into this. On the one hand, historically many separate events and also terrible climate led to massive decline in population in "Germanic" countries that did not happen nearly as much in Asia. That would have a direct effect on "innovation per capita" due to Darwinism. If only the smartest or people or the most resources survive, the bell curve will move to the right and the population lower. However, culture also plays a massive part in this. The culture of "western countries" is completely different than it was for hundreds of years prior to now. In Asian countries there is still a strong emphasis on not bringing shame to your family, respect, discipline etc. which obviously leads to more success in academics and work. Also, finally Asian countries are much more heterogeneous. To say "white people are a bit retarded because of x country" seems unfair. What does "white people" even mean anymore. How many people in England are even 100% English. Maybe 1%? One place with a population like that is Norway, with a population of only 5million and Magnus Carlsen, who can easily beat 7billion other people at chess.

"Westerners are more creative" Whenever White people say this, they refer to "innovation per capita" or something like that. But they're often comparing highly developed and rich Western countries to half-rural Asian countries. How about we compare Singapore with Ukraine, and South Korea with Spain? Who is more creative now? Or how about Japan + Korea + Taiwan vs Eastern Europe? Or how about developed parts of Asia vs America minus braindrain and Jews? Suddenly White people don't look so creative anymore. They might even look a bit retarded when you account for the gigantic infrastructure head start and GDP advantage they have.

This is an extremely important new phenomenon Some of the greatest companies founded over the next decade will be founded by non-Chinese people in China Why? 1. Western culture has an edge in creativity vs. Chinese 2. China's supply chain is the best in the world 3. China is low cost and let's you iterate on your ideas faster 4. Any Westerner who moves to China, ignoring the US State Department's Level 3 warning, has balls and is an independent thinker; these people make great entrepreneurs Very likely that the next Elon Musk will be a non-Chinese in China

@BigImpactHumans I think a cure is coming. If you can have a hard drive that seems to keep getting smaller and smaller to hold data, why can't you put your memories in a chip?

We all know how truly awful cancer is, but not many talk about how devastating dementia and Alzheimer’s can be. Losing your memory and the very essence of who you are is truly heartbreaking. To be honest, it’s one of my biggest fears as I think of aging.
