Shavkat Rakhmonov last fought in the UFC on Dec. 7, 2024. He was removed from the welterweight rankings today.
Colby Covington last fought on Dec. 14, 2024. He’s still ranked 13th in the welterweight rankings.

@mmonreal0423 For sure, I’ve always admired Ramos and he’d check multiple boxes for KC. Full-time left fielder and a right-handed bat to balance the lineup.
I don’t think Ragans is completely untouchable and with the right prospects coming back as well, I think they should entertain the idea.

@Caleb_Moody44 100% get what you’re saying. Giants would still have to throw in 2 very good prospects and another solid one or two.
I do thinks the Royals would be interested in Ramos, though. An extremely cheap, controllable right-handed hitting outfielder who’s shown he can be an All-Star.

Per @alexspeier Kansas City isn’t hiding its willingness to deal a rotation member for an outfielder and no one is “off limits” Royals general manager J.J. Piccolo was quoted saying: “A lot of teams are looking for starting pitching, so if we have what they may be interested in, and they have an outfielder that would be of interest, then there’s potentially the opportunity to make a deal.” They were asked if anyone was off limits including lefthander Cole Ragans “I wouldn’t say off limits,” said Piccolo, But reluctant to deal either vets Seth Lugo or Michael Wacha “There would have to be a really big return for one [starter] in particular.” That starter, of course, is Ragans. Speier said “though the Royals would prefer a righthanded-hitting outfielder, they won’t be tethered to the notion — making their considerable interest in Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran at the trade deadline notable” (Edit by @RafaelaEnjoyer )
