How’s he done in the playoffs in clutch moments? How many World Series winning home runs in the 11th inning has your boy hit? Good start to his season for sure. Let’s see how the rest of the year plays out. You obviously know, in 2025, Smith had better stats and won a chip. Again. Best catcher in baseball is Will Smith.

@SleeperDodgers Espinal, this isn’t even a question. More interesting is when Edman comes back who goest down. Kim or Freeland. In my opinion Freeland goes down.

@dylanohernandez I think they keep Roki in the rotation and see if he can figure it out. I think he’s close. I think Robo is less affected going to the pen, while Roki try’s to figure it out. If not, Robo, Snell, Glass, Sho, Yama and Sheehan, likely best SR in baseball.

Blake Snell is closing in on his return, meaning someone is about to be pushed out of the Dodgers’ rotation. Why the Dodgers should use this opportunity to send Roki Sasaki to the minor leagues: nypost.com/2026/05/04/spo…

A Faded Memory. Andersen's Pea Soup Restaurant opened in 1924, founded by Danish immigrant Anton Andersen and his wife Juliette. Originally a small roadside stand along what became U.S. Route 101, it grew into one of the most well-known stops in California. During the Great Depression, the business struggled until Juliette added split pea soup to the menu. It was simple, affordable, and filling and it ended up saving the restaurant. From there, it became a destination. By the 1930s-1960s, this was a major stop for travelers between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Tour buses lined the parking lot, families planned trips around it, and the restaurant served hundreds of people daily. The location became known for more than just food. Danish-style architecture, a windmill, gift shops, and the mascots Hap-Pea and Pea-Wee made it a full roadside attraction. Billboards across California counted down the miles until you arrived. For decades, it remained busy and became part of California road trip culture. But as highways improved and travel became faster, fewer people stopped. Over time, the crowds declined. Today, the building still stands, but the activity that once filled it is gone. What was once a packed destination is now a decaying reminder of our great past.

Assuming, the fellow golfer, routinely scores in the mid 80’s, and not the mid 90’s, the key to shaving strokes on the scorecard is the short game. Work on chipping and putting. Also getting up and down from green side bunkers. All three of those skills, are the least practiced amongst high handicapper’s, and actually are the easiest to get good at.

@CatchUpFeed Sad tragedy. That’s not cold blood though. Boxer didn’t intent to kill him just beat him and then showed remorse immediately after. Cold blood would have been beating him until he finally dies and then walking away with a smile.

A Turkish boxer murdered a florist in cold blood by punching him so hard that it shattered his skull. The victim’s sister had the audacity to share a photo of the fighter’s wife’s floral bouquet on the shop’s Instagram page. The woman got mad about it and sent her husband to confront the florist. The fighter lost his temper the instant the victim walked in and killed him on the spot. The florist had no idea anything was wrong.

NEW: A woman in South Carolina tries to bite two men who were simply fishing at a pond. She claims there were no fishing signs, then tries to steal their fishing rods. When the men pulled their own property back, she lunged and attempted to bite them. Pure unhinged behavior over nothing. Let the dudes fish.

They have been here for thousands, if not, millions of years. Why haven’t they engaged with humans? Do humans engage with ants? Maybe in a hundred thousand years, when humans have evolved, to a level the aliens can relate to, they will contact human life. In the meantime be happy they don’t do what humans do when they see an ant farm, destroy it.

I’ve lived on a golf course for 30 years. First of all buy on the course where it’s unlikely an errant shot hits your house. Secondly, the golfer is absolutely responsible for damages from an errant shot. Not the home owner, and not the course. In fact several signs on the course warn golfers it is their responsibility for damages.

This elderly man is upset because he lives on a golf course and a group of golfers broke his window with a bad slice. Should homes that lie on courses have extra protection for the windows that face them? Are the golfers responsible for replacing the window? I think it’s the right thing to do; I would.

Not knowing where Rory’s approach on 18 went is understandable, given he was so far out of contention. But JN has to simply say “ we have no idea where his shot went, but our team is on it and will report back, Found it in the bunker”. By saying nothing, which was their choice, was brutal golf coverage. Also, showing players teeing off from the side and then showing just the ball in the air until it lands felt like 1950’s coverage. With tracer technology following shot now, not tracing them is a big fail. I get wanting to shake it up. But not side angle shots with zero perspective of ball flight. Come on guys.

Yeah, not to mention a couple tee shots coming down the stretch where they covered just the swing and then just the ball in the air. Zero perspective. With shot tracer now the norm, any other point of is lacking. Understand when they cant follow Rory’s second shot into 18, he was way out of position. But JN has to tell us they don’t know where it is, and they are looking for it. Would have been a cool moment. Saying nothing, which is what they did, felt a bit awkward. Not there best.
