The Apothecary Diaries: set in ancient China, apothecary girl ends up in the royal palace solving medical mysteries and crimes. Genuinely my favorite female protagonist from all the anime I’ve consumed. Oddtaxi: Crime Mystery that despite featuring anthropomorphic animals is extremely grounded in its telling of the stories of its characters. One of these stories where a lot of seemingly disconnected plotlines slowly start to overlap. Very interesting to watch everything unravel. Ya Boy Kongming: The brilliant ancient chinese strategist Kongming is reborn in modern Tokyo and ends up vowing to support an aspiring amateur musician in her journey to achieve stardom by using military strategy. It’s a ridiculous premise but it really does work! HAIKYU!!: I had no interest in volleyball, and then I watched Haikyu and now I think volleyball might be the coolest thing in the entire world. Every match in the show has you on the edge of your seat. Spice and Wolf: Merchant man meets Wolf Goddess and then they travel the world and survive using the power of ECONOMICS! Very nice setting and atmosphere. Frieren: Currently the highest rated anime of all time, season 2 is currently airing. An elf mage goes on another journey years after defeating the Demon King, retracing her steps and remembering the memories of her friends from the hero’s party, realizing the things she appreciates about them but knowing it’s too late. Highly recommend all of these! 😁😁😁

This request might not make any sense, but what anime do you recommend to someone who hates anime? That someone is me, I can't stand most anime tropes and how they pander to fan-service crazed high schoolers. Give me stuff that feels very much like its own thing.

Hasn’t affected my long form at all personally, and if I use the related video function it usually gives my long form videos an extra few thousand views if people go “oh, I want to see the full video of this” But also to my limited understanding, if you really want your shorts to do mega super duper well you have to at least be daily with them 🤪

Question for content creators: Does uploading Shorts actually harm your channel? Been hearing it for years that it hurts your long form videos reach and stuff.
