@YuriaVT tbf the US has a LOT of other payoffs. Like for the average tip you can buy several canisters of water if you want to. And in most EU countries you see prices with any tax already included, making accidental overspending harder.

Europe could learn a lot from free refills US has. I finished my drink and wanted to leave and they asked if I wanted another to go!? Love being hydrated. Also water not being free in some EU countries is just ridiculous.

@YuriaVT I agree, it would be nice, but as i said - its their decision to not offer it as it is ours to not go there if thats a dealbreaker. Thats just how the whole market thing works. :D

Download the offline installer of any of your games on GOG, save it to a disc and it's yours forever. You don't need a storefront's permission to play what you bought.

@HardwareUnboxed How many people in the comments dont understand that a BIOS update isnt the same as an OS or firmware update 100% confirms the point you are making...

So the Steam Machine is meant to be easier to live with than a traditional gaming PC, but already needs a BIOS update to avoid thermal throttling. It uses a Radeon GPU, what were they expecting?

@tblones42 @HardwareUnboxed @NedjoK @nielsbekkers88 Well... 9000 AMDs GPUs sucked significantly more power than their performance-equivalent Nvidia counterparts, despite being released a year after the 4000 series. AMD sucking more watts for the same performance is pretty much the rule for the past 10 years.

@Aritone_n @KuuTuber Your GPU has literally nothing to do with boot up times. Its the SSD. Swap a HDD for an SSD and even 15yo systems boot up in 10-20 seconds ad suddenly start performing like they are new.

@KuuTuber Prob have weak as heck computers and don’t want to wait 5 to 10 minutes for it to boot up and all apps get fully up again. I have a 4090 pc for a few years now. ALWAYS shut it down when I’m done. It boots up extremely fast and saves power shutting down.

Wait people don’t like.. shut down their computers every night before going to bed…? why

@KuuTuber I have as of right now 748 chrome tabs across 21 windows and 7 virtual desktops, 58GB of constant RAM usage just from Chrome. I ain't reopening that every day.

@Caelleigh1 @KuuTuber If "PC abuse" was a crime. ;D Seeing how common this is, im really wondering what percentage of the "hurr durr Windows baaad!!1!"-complains are literally just user error. Also 100% take a photo of that. Worst i have seen yet (that wasnt a NAS) was some 800+ days i think. :D

@KuuTuber A friend of mine was complaining that his computer was running like shit. Not just because it's a Windows computer, turns out it had just under a 900-day uptime. I told him we should restart it to clear that, but I kind of wanted to wait a few days to hit 900.

@BennyBnuy @KuuTuber Yeah, using "Restart" gets you a proper restart. And im pretty sure that Shut Downs where Updates get installed do too. So if the people in this threat install updates from time to time, they get this too. But man... a lot of the takes in here are WILD. xD

Also the amount of people that pull the "hurr durr Grok provide sources", when asked where they got this bs from is WAY too high. My leftover trust in huminty just got kicked in the nuts and spit on. Enough internet-people for today...

Holy... i alwayxs wondered why so many people ans especially Vtuber have so often problems with their PCs. This threat is the answer... 0.o Those mfer believe in the biggest hoax' that ""keeps their PCs healthy" and meanwhile probably havent cleaned it once in the past 2 years.
