@tblones42 @satellitedown @Zafaron11 Tcl has been found to add an negligible amount of QLED materials and call it 'good'. So the subjective comparison of panels should remain subjective at best.

@extravagarden @satellitedown @Zafaron11 theres been the odd game or two with really shitty hdr that ive struggled to calibrate for but overall the tv itself is great. resident evil 4 remakes hdr is completely broken and goofy so i just turn it off.

Unpopular take 78 degrees is perfectly fine for a house. Especially when it’s 98 degrees outside. There’s a 20 degree rule that your a/c can lower the ambient temp that far without running continuously under strain. This has nothing to do w/ Commie Mamdani it’s HVAC common sense. If you want to pay to cool it lower and set yourself up for repairs by stressing your system. Feel free, well except for the cost. I’m a whiny climate controlled softy these days. I did my suffering in the brutal heat for many years. I do 68 in the winter and 77/78 in the Summer . YMMV

Unlike other companies, Valve did not anticipate a shortage (other companies did) and now are forced to purchase RAM at high prices. That is completely Valve's fault for not reading the room on AI.
