It's why they're constantly on the retreat and control nothing tbh.
The left understood that in institutions you will always encounter people who aren't leftists, and you must undertake a long war of position to outflank them so your agenda becomes the agenda of the institution.
Twitter purists sperg out because they think stating the most extreme position makes you somehow morally superior and therefore any contact with the impure is personal destruction. Surprise surprise, projecting pure ideological statements onto the internet accomplishes nothing.
The left has these people too, of course, but they're just ignored while the people actually working got the job done.

@Aris_Utensil I don’t think it’s that deep. Carl owns a business, he works very very hard to build and maintain that business. He doesn’t want it to be taxed to oblivion to pay for other people’s luxury time.
Not everything requires a deep political theory analysis.
