This is an idiotic take, the six nations is derived from a competition specifically built from the 5 nations and the various cups competed between the home nations, they earned the right to be involved long ago, relegation ignores over a century of historical precedent

@SurferRBLX @RoBuilderYT An environmental artist is a subcategory of 3D Artist, they are expected to make their own assets. There is no "Builder" equivalent outside of Roblox, which is why it's a term that's so hard for professionals outside of the space to understand

Not true at all, yes, modeling can help you with your building significantly, I won't deny that. But building and modeling require entirely different workflows from each other. For example, with building, you're using pre-made assets and putting them together into a scene following environmental design protocols / workflows. For modeling, you're breaking every day objects down into their simplest forms and creating them from scratch. There's a reason that in the AAA industry they separate the roles between environmental artists and general 3d artists. Yes, those environmental artists tend to make their own assets as well, but 9 times out of 10, they have a general 3d artist working on the assets they use.

@sleitnick We have found across many games and many iterations, that the Roblox audience prefer a familiar, simple and bright UI style and will actively reject anything that doesn't confirm to the known patterns. So the player base itself serves as a barrier to greater experimentation.

I've been showing Roblox games to some of my friends who have never played Roblox. We played random top games. Every one of them had audible gasps of disappointment toward UI. What is keeping Roblox devs from leveling up UI? Or rather, why don't the players care?

I wonder if any Roblox execs realize that the entire suite of their top 100 developers and teams, who make up almost 99% of the platforms entire value, adamantly despise that they spend resources on this instead of improving basic creative features?

Giving public access to the code behind these things for one title, could open them up to vulnerabilities in all future titles, and force them to spend resources retreading old ground.

Everyone on the Grow a Garden team has given everything to this project... blood, sweat, tears, and then some. Many of us have spent the past 8 years mastering our craft on Roblox, growing alongside Splitting Point every step of the way. There’s no question this level of success wouldn’t be possible without this team. I truly believe this is a defining moment for UGC and indie gaming. There's a growing gap between what AAA studios are delivering and what players are actually looking for.

Never would I’ve thought I’d see this day come. I’m actually shaking 🥹 For the first time ever, a game I worked on has reached 1 Million CCU and we’re currently the #1 game on Roblox right now.
