Hey, don’t waste your time with these people. They scream “one clan can’t be a country” the reason why they don’t have a country is because the only thing they know how to talk about is a clan. Yet for example, their capital Mogadishu is dominated by one clan and after 40 years their president still controls nothing beyond the Green Zone and the airport. They can’t bring peace to their capital in which only one major clan control controls it for 40 years. Their so-called government barely exists outside that tiny bubble. Nothing they say makes sense. Somaliland was an actual independent sovereign state in 1960. Somalia never gained independence from any nation it was a UN trusteeship that rushed into a failed union with sovereign Somaliland, and today it’s still a failed state under Chapter VII. There is nothing called Somalia. It does not exist. The federal government does not control anything beyond few kilometers of the capital. 👇👇👇

Everyone suddenly discovering Somaliland now like it just appeared yesterday. Reality is it’s been stable, functioning, and overlooked for years, the honest question isn’t "if it is a legitimate state".... it’s why it took this long to acknowledge it.

اليوم العالمي لحرية الصحافة يصادف اليوم، ال- 3 من أيار-مايو، اليوم العالمي لحرية الصحافة حيث تشهد هذه الحرية تراجعا في العالم وفقا لمعطيات منظمة اليونيسكو الأممية. اما في إسرائيل فتوجد حرية تامة للصحافة وللتعبير عن الرأي ما عدا التحريض المباشر على العنف والعنصرية. وبالرغم من الوضع المعقد أمنيا الذي تمر به دولة إسرائيل خلال السنوات الأخيرة لم يتم تشديد الرقابة العسكرية على وسائل الاعلام والقيود المفروضة عليها هي تلك التي تتعلق باعتبارات امنية محضة. وتوجد وسائل اعلام وصحف عديدة في اسرائيل بعضها ينتقد سياسة الحكومة والبعض الاخر يدعمها، مما يساهم في الحوار الديموقراطي المتمدن.
