@optimum 11 days without service now. I’ve explained that your wires were torn off of the building to every one I’ve spoken to. I even sent pictures, and you’ve now sent two different mini vans out to help…a guy with a ladder isn’t going to cut it…

@OptimumHelp Hey guys, your automated system is telling me that there are no outages in my area and that my connection is fine; but your wires were ripped off my building by a branch and are now lying on the ground. My modem can’t connect.

To the Americans: I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States. And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness: You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence. This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns. Success is equated with exploitation. Ambition is looked upon with contempt. This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom. But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated. This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet. And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America: Thank God for the United States. Thank God for the wisdom of its founders. Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man. Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners. Long may your admirable country dominate the world. Long may your freedom and hope provide an example to those suffering everywhere at the hands of their malevolent states. May your two and a half centuries of unparallelled success be just the beginning. Your country is the light of the world, and the city on the hill. Thank God for the USA. Happy 250th. Dr. Jordan B. Peterson

I want every foreigner visiting America for the World Cup to realize this is 100% legal. And every town in the USA is filled with patriots who have armories like this. Every block, actually. This is why we will never be conquered and are awesome 🇺🇸

In a podcast, I claimed I could hit a man-sized target at 200 yards consistently with a CCW. It’s been clipped and reposted 1,000 times with people demanding proof and calling BS. Here’s me with a Glock 43x starting at 100 yards and walking back to 200.

In 1866, Senator Jacob Howard, a drafter of the 14th Amendment, said the citizenship clause required "full and complete jurisdiction," not just physical presence in the country. Meaning, just because you're born in the United States, it technically doesn't automatically make you an American.
SCOTUS Wire@scotus_wire

🚨 The Supreme Court ruled that the Fourteenth Amendment guarantees birthright citizenship to children born in the United States, including those whose parents are in the country unlawfully or only temporarily, striking down President Trump's executive order.

@IPipyn @ArynneWexler Here, our elderly and sick get air conditioning… so tens of thousands of them dying because it’s a little warm outside would be unusual. Now remove the 62% of our gun deaths that are suicide, and then the 50% of the remainder that’s just gang violence….

@ArynneWexler Again not a statistic Americans should be proud of... Elderly and sick people dying of a sudden extreme heatwave isn't unusual. The guns on the other hand... is more like a third world statistic

Fully support this. Japan and America are the geopolitical equivalent of 2 guys that got into a fight and then became best friends. Germany has a military, none bats an eye. Zero reason Japan shouldn’t also.

🇯🇵 The Japanese government plans return to Imperial military ranks for the Self Defense Force. Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi is actively pursuing amendments to Japan's postwar pacifist Constitution, specifically Article 9, to formally recognize the Self-Defense Forces as a traditional military and adapt to rising regional security threats.

An armed civilian in Tulsa shot a robber in the head… And the robber still ran across the street before collapsing. Read that again. This is why “one shot, one stop” is not a plan. This man was approached outside a convenience store by two robbers — one with a knife, one with a gun. Two on one. At night. At a gas station. That is one of the worst places to get caught slipping. But he was armed, he was aware enough to respond, and he fought back. That’s the win. But the lesson is bigger than one robbery. A headshot does not always mean instant lights out. A handgun does not hit like the movies. And when your life is on the line, betting everything on one perfect shot can get you killed. Train for reality. Not internet comments. Not movie logic. Not “just aim for the head” nonsense. Because the threat may keep moving. There may be a second attacker. And the fight may not be over when the first round goes off. So be honest: Do you train for multiple attackers and follow-up shots — or are most people still living in the “one shot ends everything” fantasy? Drop your answer below, and send this to the friend who thinks handguns work like Hollywood.

🚨 Welcome to the lawless, dangerous, and illegal markets in NYC, where millions and potentially BILLIONS of tax dollars are lost each year. Where criminals arrested for drug dealing, assault, and resisting arrest are set free to commit their crimes once again. The NYC Council says it loses over $1.7 billion in potential tax revenue. These vendors are primarily illegal migrants from Africa who make $10,000’s of dollars a week TAX FREE. In a city that wants to "tax the rich" but turns a blind eye to open criminality and fraud, there is a problem. How can women feel safe knowing criminals arrested for assault are set free on the streets? This isn’t about left or right, it’s about what is against the law. We all work too hard and pay too much in taxes for others to break our laws and defraud the system. Watch and share!

HAVE YOU EVER HEARD ABOUT THE LIMP BIZKIT WOODSTOCK THEORY? Limp Bizkit performed “Break Stuff” at Woodstock 1999 and the young White male crowd erupted into riots, fires, and chaos. The elites saw firsthand the dangerous mobilizing power of angry nu-metal music on White men. They didn’t like the possibilities that the White man could rise up full of anger. They had to stop us before we realised ourselves what we could actually do together. They responded by pulling back support for those bands. In the 2000s the music industry shifted heavily toward promoting rappers and hip-hop. The goal was clear, stop White male anger and prevent it from rising up against the system. Rock was deliberately sidelined. This was cultural control.
