God said Adam and Eve would “surely die” the same day they ate the forbidden fruit. Adam and Eve almost lived (according to the Bible) for a thousand years. And we’re told that god tells the truth?

@KeithNester1 Bottom line Paul isn’t ranking “ways to be saved.” He’s ranking what is most enduring and God-like.

@KeithNester1 4. No contradiction—different roles Faith → how you are saved Love → the highest virtue that flows from that salvation Paul actually ties them together elsewhere: “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love” (Galatians 5:6)

🚨 Pope Leo XIV Just Dropped a One-Sided Peace Sermon — But the Bible Tells a Different Story Pope Leo XIV said yesterday: “God does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war.” Sounds pious on the surface… until you open the Bible. King David — a “man after God’s own heart” — was a warrior who waged wars with God’s blessing. God Himself commanded Israel to go to war multiple times in Scripture to defend His people and execute judgment. The same God who is called a “Man of War” in Exodus 15:3. Jesus returns in Revelation as the conquering King riding on a white horse with a sword — not exactly a pacifist poster boy. Selective peace quotes ignore the full counsel of Scripture: just war, self-defense, and standing against evil are not automatically condemned by God. Here’s what’s glaring: This Pope is quick to lecture about “those who wage war” (hinting at current conflicts involving the West or allies), yet stays strangely silent on Democrat policies, radical Islam’s atrocities, and the slaughter of Christians worldwide. He hasn’t been vocal condemning the antisemitism festering in parts of the Church or broader culture. His own conservative brother has publicly noted ideological differences, with many viewing Leo as leaning liberal/moderate. Tough questions for the Holy Father: - Is God “okay” with the Catholic Church’s historical wars against Protestants during the Reformation era and the bloody religious conflicts that followed? - What about the Crusades — launched to reclaim Christian holy sites from Islamic conquest? - Why the silence on the brutal crackdown in Iran where reports suggest tens of thousands killed in the name of the Islamic regime suppressing protests? - And most urgently: Why so little bold condemnation of the ongoing massacre of Christians in Nigeria — where thousands upon thousands of believers are slaughtered yearly by Islamist militants, making it ground zero for Christian persecution globally? True Christian leadership calls out all evil and violence — not just the convenient targets. Pacifism sounds holy until jihadists are beheading innocents while the Church looks away. The Bible doesn’t preach endless war, but it also doesn’t demand unilateral disarmament in the face of pure evil. Discernment, justice, and protecting the innocent matter. What do you think — is this selective peacemaking or inconsistent theology? Drop your thoughts below. 🔥 #PopeLeoXIV #BibleAndWar #JustWar #ChristianPersecution #NigeriaChristians #IranProtests #StandForTruth #FaithAndFreedom

REPORTER: "Pope Leo said yesterday, and I quote him, 'God does not listen to the prayer of those who waged war.' Can you comment on that?" KAROLINE LEAVITT: "Our nation was a nation founded 250 years ago, almost, on Judeo-Christian values. And we’ve seen, presidents, we’ve seen, the leaders of the Department of War, and we’ve seen our troops go to prayer, during the most turbulent times in our nation’s history." "I don’t think there’s anything wrong with our military leaders or with the president calling on the American people to pray for our service members and those who are serving our country overseas. In fact, I think it’s a very noble thing to do."

BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV strikes MAGA in the teeth by announcing that God ignores the prayers of those who start wars because their "hands are full of blood." This is a stunning rebuke of Pete Hegseth's shameful public remarks... "Brothers and sisters, this is our God: Jesus, King of Peace, who rejects war, whom no one can use to justify war. He does not listen to the prayers of those who wage war, but rejects them," Leo said at Palm Sunday Mass. Tens of thousands of Catholics were gathered in St. Peter's Square at the Vatican to hear their religious leader speak. The pope has been outspoken in his criticisms of Trump's illegal Iran War, calling it a "scandal to the whole human family" while demanding an outright ban on aerial bombardments. “Thousands of innocent people have been killed, and many others have been forced to abandon their homes,” Leo previously stated. “I renew my prayerful closeness to all those who have lost their loved ones in the attacks that have struck schools, hospitals, and residential areas.” The pontiff's latest remarks are a sharp rebuke of Defense Secretary Hegseth's frothing-at-the-mouth attempts to paint this conflict as a righteous holy war waged in Jesus's name. “Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield in whom I take refuge,” Hegseth has said, referring to the war. He also prayed for the U.S. military to deliver “overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy," a particularly evil pronouncement to make as that same military is bombing school children and mass-slaughtering civilians. Hegseth is that type of so-called "Christian" who totally rejects the teachings of Jesus Christ. His "religion" asks nothing of him, not even basic human compassion, and he uses it as a cudgel to justify every deeply immoral thing that he does. One immediately thinks of Matthew 7:21–23 when considering Hegseth's "Christianity." It quotes Jesus as saying: "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.’" Over 2000 years ago, Jesus of Nazareth knew that the day would come when evildoers would claim to be Christian while rejecting his core teachings. Our Defense Secretary is exactly that kind of evildoer. MAGA world has predictably fallen to pieces over Leo's blunt condemnation of the Trump administration's war. They have once again taken to calling the pope a "communist" and "satanic." Some right-wing personalities, notably the protestant influencer Allie Beth Stuckley who boasts 584,000 followers on X, rushed to condemn Leo's remarks by pointing to instances in the Bible where God justified war. Stuckley pointed specifically to King David and other Old Testament leaders in particular. If one takes Christianity on its own terms and assumes that God did indeed justify war in the Old Testament, there is still a world of difference between biblical leaders like King David — who was fighting for his nation's survival in the ancient world — and Donald Trump, a corrupt, demented pedophile who's waging a war of choice to destabilize Iran so that Israel can gobble up more territory uncontested. Here's a very simple litmus test: If your version of Christianity demands that you justify the actions of a rapist conman as he murders innocent men, women, and children it's time for you to find a new church. Please ❤️ and share if you stand with Pope Leo!

The Pope vs. the Bible. Pope: “God rejects the prayers of leaders who start wars (meaning Iran War).” Technically the Pope would be referring to Iranian leaders who started belligerence by funding 47 years of terror against Jews, Americans and other nations. God does not listen to their prayers, as seen clearly by their defeat. Bible: 2 Chronicles 20 — the whole chapter is King Jehoshaphat’s prayer for victory in war. God directly answers with a promise of victory: 2 Chronicles 20:15-17 NKJV 15 “And he said, ‘Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: “Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”” 17 “You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.” Deuteronomy 20:4 NKJV “for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.” Proverbs 21:31 NKJV “The horse is prepared for the day of battle, But deliverance is of the Lord.” 1 Samuel 17:47 NKJV “Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.” Psalm 108:13 NKJV “Through God we will do valiantly, For it is He who shall tread down our enemies.” Psalm 18:34 NKJV “He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.” Psalm 144:1 NKJV “Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle—” God actively trains His people for war, promises victory to those who fight for justice, and responds to prayers for victory in battle. Don’t ever confuse Catholic hierarchy with Jesus Christ. They often contradict the Bible and have done so historically for thousands of years. Now the Pope has TDS. God does not endorse any human who dares to oppose His Word. God blesses @realDonaldTrump with victory because he brought justice on the regime’s wicked heads. God will bless anyone who respects the Bible and does His will.
