@Daykerpriest The point is that there's no way the wish can exist without it taking her autonomy. If she fundamentally doesn't love him, then it has to force her to. Like the creator said, the wish itself is cursed. Alternatively he needed to wish something to better himself, not change her.

Exactly. Bear wished for love, not mind control. If the Willow’s only way of granting that wish was by destroying Nikki’s free will, then that’s on the One Wish Willow, not on Bear. Once you realize how twisted the curse really was, you start to see that Bear isn’t as much of a villain as people make him out to be.

@MelohRush The problem which he stated in the post is that THIS ISNT HOW BENDING WORKS. AT ALL. I could care less if he was a good fighter, if the avatar took time to learn the elements, arguably one of the most talented benders ever, a random dude learning it in less than a day is absurd

I love Toph, my absolute favorite in this franchise but this is the same guy from the group that had Aang on the ropes at the beginning of the movie without bending Also made it a point that know one knows how to fight an air bender several times. Aangs beaten her with FAR less

They've been shilling Kamala Khan for over a decade with multiple solo runs, game appearances, a miniseries, and even a feature role in a major MCU film. Nobody cares. Nobody can even name who her main nemesis or love interest is after 10 years. After TEN YEARS, dude.

The writers shouldn’t have nerfed Aang just to hype up Tagah. Instead, they should’ve made a villain weaker than Aang physically but able to defeat him psychologically by exploiting his trauma. That’s how you challenge the “strongest character” trope without messy power scaling.

@KAD_ProductionZ Yeah no. Avatar state finale of original series completely dismantles this scene. Air bubble that not only makes him move insanely fast, also protects him AND he can use more than one element at the same time. Hold the pulse up while moving out of the way is very plausible.

People upset at this scene are flat out stupid and larpers You are falling from a high place, and you’re also holding someone who is the same weight as you, if not heavier, that’s without mentioning in this movie we see Zuko utilize the fire flight for mere seconds, since this ability requires strong force for the flames to maintain you in the air, that’s why they only use it to create higher jumps in the show. Only OZAI was able to perform the same feat under Sozins’s comet. And yet here we have Aang, with extra weight on his back, performing bigger propulsion and flying around with it. Y’all complain over nothing

New avatar movie is one of the most gorgeous films I’ve ever seen and all people can do on here is bitch about the voice acting that wasn’t even bad.

@heyhuwahere This part. I get air being arguably the strongest element, but a guy from out of nowhere WASHING them is insane when they represent the pinacle of their beinding. They should've had him be more tactical and sneaky than just destroy them all head on.

The argument that the team lost because the villain was a homicidal airbender is almost as lazy as the movie's writing. There's no explanation as to why a single use bender in the avatar universe can take out a team of master benders. It wasn't even a fight, it was a beat down.

@cthulhu_queef But she pulled water out of trees and blood bended IMMEDIATELY that episode, it's implied that she can 100 percent use this technique if she can do those. Horrible writing.

it’s almost like you don’t need to make every story in the avatar universe include a world ending villain/scenario and you wouldn’t have this problem
