We have always given the best possible releases for all our heroes, even when we faced many hurdles. We did it purely out of love for Telugu cinema and respect for the star image they carry. We value that. We respect that. No matter the fan base. No matter the time constraints. Once we commit, we go all in. There are plenty of on-ground challenges in the USA. While we understand the lack of awareness back home, it’s frustrating when someone sitting in India casually comments on things without understanding the ground reality. Still, we respect that it’s all coming from love for their stars. Now, coming to the Canada release issue being tied to the USA one… let’s be clear. Why would anyone kill their own business? We didn’t plan the best release for Pawan Kalyan garu just because fans asked. We did it out of genuine love and deep respect for a massive project like OG. Thanks to genuine North America Pawan Kalyan garu’s fans, even with last-minute hurdles, we made sure the film reached every possible location.. So why would we ignore a relatively small territory like Canada because of a few baseless and ill-informed tweets? And even then, we gave Pawan Kalyan garu an all-time record in Canada. Even if there had been zero issues, that wouldn’t have made a big difference. Let’s not forget, you tweet for a few days and move on, while the losses stay with us for a lifetime. We actually lost more money in Canada on other projects than we did on OG. No distributor, including us, would ever hurt their own business on purpose. That’s just narrow thinking. And still, WE LOVE YOU. At the end of the day, We are doing business. And we will continue to give the best possible release every single time. Whether you like it or not, here’s the fact. Fortunately, and by goddess Prathyangira Devi being on our side, most of the films we have distributed have achieved their all-time records through us. And that would not have been possible without the fans in the USA showing up and supporting their heroes. We love you for that. If you know, you know. If you don’t, get educated. IF WE CAN’T, NO ONE CAN.

We deserve answers: 1️⃣ Why is it that only Mega family movies face obstacles every single time in Canada? This pattern has hurt fans again and again. 2️⃣ Why are our films screened only in small, outdated, and poorly maintained theatres? Do you really think that does justice to a massive pan-Indian release like OG? 3️⃣ Why can’t we get a proper release in Cineplex chain theatres like other big films? It should be the standard expectation, not something we have to beg for. 4️⃣ You and York did business happily when terms were good. But suddenly, only when it comes to a Mega film, you claim “terms are bad”? And that too for the MOST HYPED MOVIE #OG? This is not coincidence — this is outright betrayal of Mega Fans. 5️⃣ When you knew York Cinemas was running a monopoly, why continue business with them until now? Why back out at the last second, after selling tickets? Didn’t you already know they were playing monopoly earlier? Why make fans pay the price for your delay? 6️⃣ More than 5000 tickets were sold in Canada 2 weeks before release — something never before seen here. How will you now accommodate those fans with such limited locations? Where do the thousands of people who trusted you go? 7️⃣ Canada tickets were opened 20 days before release — even before major US cities. Then York cancelled bookings a week ago. Why did you go SILENT until your North America breakeven was safe? And now suddenly you announce poor halls as a backup? This is pure cheating. 8️⃣ In your X Spaces, your arrogant and dismissive attitude towards fans was shocking. Instead of showing respect and empathy, you insulted and talked down to the very people who supported you. That is NOT how a distributor should treat genuine fans. 9️⃣ Your communication was pathetic. Locations were announced at the last minute, leaving fans frustrated and helpless. Why such unnecessary delays and secrecy? Is this your “professionalism”? 🔟 The same issues had come up during Pushpa 2, but they were resolved quickly. Why not for OG? Why are only Mega family films singled out for negligence? 1️⃣1️⃣ How is it that Devara had a smooth and proper release in prime theatres without any drama, but OG fans are left with disappointment and chaos? 1️⃣2️⃣ Why act as if you are doing us a favor by screening in substandard halls? Watching in such conditions is worse than watching in a home theatre. Is this the respect you give to Mega fans? 1️⃣3️⃣ Why did you take us for granted? Canada Mega Fans go all out with love and energy for celebrations, promotions, and support. We deserve dignity, not disrespect. 1️⃣4️⃣ For more than 6 months, every York Cinemas show carried your advertisements saying Prathyangira is releasing OG in North America. If that was the case, why betray the very fans who trusted you? 1️⃣5️⃣ And above all, why did you choose to fight among yourselves and scapegoat the fans? We are the ones paying the price for your internal issues. 1️⃣6️⃣ York released a press note and shared their side of the story. Why didn’t you release any press note, apology, or explanation? 1️⃣7️⃣ There were 14 shows scheduled at York on September 24th. We planned a grand celebration with more than 500 fans at one place, took permissions, and made all arrangements. What happens to all those efforts, time, and emotions now? 1️⃣8️⃣ Never before have fans worked this hard. We planned and executed OG promotions a full month before release. The only thing left was the grand finale on release day. But because of your internal fight, all our efforts and dreams have been ruined. 1️⃣9️⃣ This inconvenience was caused by you, yet there is no apology or remorse from your side. Instead of compensating fans or lowering ticket prices, you pushed us into worse theatres than ever. Initially we paid $30 for a Dolby screen, and now you’ve increased the price to $35 for a poor-quality hall.
This is highly reprehensible @PrathyangiraUS you’ve turned the whole situation into national and audience safety. Your personal feuds were aired publicly.. saying ‘you are breaking’ monopoly… telugu cinema fans have blindly rallied behind you to support… but now a closed door meeting and a spineless tweet will solve all this?? We demand answers for all your allegations and what has changed now? How is the ‘safety of audience’ now guaranteed? Are the perpetrators punished???
