Xhekaj plays a heavy, physical playoff game that actually keeps opponents honest. I'd rather a roughing minor for protecting the net than a lazy hook.

Jayden Struble provides absolutely nothing that Xhekaj can't do better

@Habsolutely3 @paultanasi At 5v5 last night, the Struble-Hutson pairing got absolutely caved in a brutal 31.4% xGF% and 34.2% Corsi. They spent 70% of their time pinned in their own zone. Dobeš completely bailed them out. Xhekaj hasn't even been given a real look with Hutson to make a comparison. 🤣

@paultanasi It's simple. 1. They needed to separate Carrier and Matheson because they were getting exposed 2. The only D who had favourable results with Carrier was Guhle 3. Struble plays better with Hutson than Xhekaj does

MSL won’t play Xhekaj who has been very decent in the playoffs but he trusts Struble 🫪 I don’t get it Marty…..I just don’t.
