🚨BREAKING: @ScotParl has passed the Referendums (Scotland) Bill by 68 to 54, creating the legal basis for holding an independence referendum. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿This is another step forward for Scotland's right to choose our future. This choice must be in Scotland's hands, not Boris Johnson's.

On an otherwise glorious night for @theSNP the loss of @StephenGethins was a sore one. He has been a fantastic MP - backed by a great team - as well as a passionate advocate for Scotland in Europe. I have no doubt we will see him back in elected politics in future.
