So I was sitting in front of those mini buses, the bus was still loading passengers and this woman sitting in the first row was lapping her son( a teenager, probably 14-17). A lady was at the other side of the road trying to cross, she wore light blue leggings and those backless crop tops that are split at the middle, just below your boobs and exposes your tummy, she's fat with big tummy, you can imagine how it'll look in that kind of top. I saw her first, I said in my mind "wow" and I looked away. Immediately this woman spotted her, she started insulting the girl. "Look at this foolish girl o" "What does she think she's wearing?" "This is why men are better, you will never see a man dressing indecently" "women are disgrace, ashewo" "see how big her tummy is and she dey open am make the world see" "This one na cloth?" " A man will never try something like this" Men this men that. Then when the girl crossed to our side and started walking forward, she saw her back and continued. She said something in Igbo, I didn't understand, then she said "this one wear pant like this, she no wear o, see her ugly shape". I swear down, she didn't stop until the girl was no longer visible to us. The girl didn't hear all these but I wonder what would have happened if she did and I kept turning back to give her a disgusted look. Her son was just there laughing, wtf is funny??? Even the men in the bus didn't say anything, those questions she was asking, she would turn to the men to talk, they didn't even answer her and it was so obvious they were more irritated by the woman herself. Imagine doing this kind of nonsense and in the presence of her son, if somebody tells me that boy also body shames women, I won't be surprised because he learnt it from his silly mother. I'm thankful my parents always mind their business, you will never see them in other people's business, never or even body shaming anyone. Do you know the funny part? When we got to our destination and I saw this woman's full body, I couldn't even laugh.
