PlayStation; if you're going to get rid of the option to buy physical discs, you 1. HAVE to implement a REFUND policy. 2. HAVE to offer Disc-to-Digital 3. REMOVE variable pricing. 4. Address your customers.

@KinLost1 @GAMER_BOI_83 @PlayStation Not at all, I hate that too and what I meant is a small use case which people are using and a "good" physical example which is not.

The point here is to defend the future of physical media. Just because it isn’t implemented perfectly and still has issues, like digital locks or parts of the game needing to be downloaded, does that mean it should disappear completely and we should just surrender to the PS Store’s digital monopoly? Is that really the conclusion you’re trying to reach?

@K__Med I agree, but sometimes there's the otherway around too... Got the digital deluxe version for Alters and Hell is us for 20€ each while on disc those are still quite expensive.

@ImaRealFerret @ItsNotDistinct @thaRealKyo It's bizarre, probably a bug. That said these timers were never ok and they never fixed them. Dont think they care about this or any kind of store upgrades.

@KinLost1 @GAMER_BOI_83 @PlayStation A patch yes, an online block no. I remember this year this is the second game that the disc demands a download or it will not work. Crimson Desert had the same issue.

@CandyRub_69 @GAMER_BOI_83 @PlayStation Hasn’t that been the case with pretty much every game for years now? The difference is that I can sell my disc next week if I feel like it, or lend it to my friends if they want to play it afterward. So what’s your point?

Honestly, I don’t even know what you’re talking about bc I put the disc in, it copied the data to my PS5, and that was it. And we all know physical games still need to download data these days, and that’s fine. But if I want to resell the game, lend it to someone, or collect an actual disc instead of an empty box with a code that just creates unnecessary plastic, I can. I don’t really get what your issue with physical media is.
