The Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates met yesterday to discuss an ordinance aimed at further restricting ICE operations on Cape Cod. This man said what millions of Americans are thinking but are too afraid to say out loud: “I am not an uncompassionate individual. But my generosity has been abused, and I am sick of it! I am sick of being treated as an indentured servant to foreign nationals in my country and in my community. State Senator Julian Cyr says enforcement “instills a culture of fear,” yet the article itself states that “Mr. da Silva Lima and Nycolas had a return order from years ago.” Translation: they were already ordered to leave the country. The real “culture of fear” is politicians convincing Americans that enforcing existing laws is somehow wrong.

I’m cutting red tape so people can get the health care they need — faster. We’re getting rid of prior authorization for many routine and essential treatments, like emergency care, primary care, reproductive care, and certain treatments for chronic conditions like diabetes, asthma and cancer. You shouldn’t have to wait for the care the doctor orders.
